“Very good restaurant that’s not afraid to play with their food in a good way! Great Service with good recommendations. The food was fantastic. Fries cooked perfectly crispy with good seasonings. Good portions for the price. Good southern sweet tea. I would recommend going for some of the more out there offerings instead of a basic chili cheese dog. I’ve never been a fan of pickles, but the spicy maple bourbon pickles on the Maui burger didn’t taste like pickles and weren’t very spicy, and they gave the whole sandwich a crispy texture and sweet aftertaste that was perfect.”

“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Myrtle Beach area. This place is legit! Been here a bunch of times. Burritos are great. Today I tried the taco salad. Best taco salad I have had in my life! I took a photo of it so hopefully I can post it here. If you are in Surfside Beach, don’t pass this place up.”

“My family and I go to this restaurant multiple times when we vacation at the beach. We go to the beach a couple times a year and we always go here. I do not understand why anyone would go to these chain restaurants when this gem is right there. They have the absolute by far best omelette and their biscuit and gravy is awesome. This is a family owned restaurant and their food is sooo good. We were at the beach last week and we went there 3 times. My family loves raves and we will always support their business.”

“We were met by Donna our server who you need to ask for when you come in the door! We came for the crab cakes and I have to say best south of Baltimore area!!! They also have an authentic Brick oven from Italy so I will try the pizza next time. Salads looked good and large. Menu has many options to choose from so I highly recommend trying this restaurant. Nice bar seating, with tables and booths also available. Owner from Baltimore so of course Ravens on during the FB season. First Sunday of month make roast beef and turkey sandwiches. I’ll be trying them.”

“Best burgers and hand cut fries south of New York and by far one of the best ever! Been there several times. I get the Bison Burger, but have had the beef also and super juicy They also have a gluten free bun option not listed on the menu, but their ordinary buns cause me no issues, which is not typical. French fries are homemade and not too greasy or salty. Delicious. Can't recommend it enough. Excellent prices, service and portion size.”

“We have been enjoying your restaurant for many years,but last night was the first time we were disappointed. We brought a couple with us for their first time there.We had been praising everything about it but last night we ordered off the regular menu,not the early bird specials and the portions were smaller than what we had on the early bird specials! It was excellent as always,but we were still hungry when we left. We’re not huge eaters and usually have leftovers!”

“We had a table of six and our waiter Jason G was very busy, but he was very attentive and helpful. He was an excellent waiter. The only negative food experience was the BBQ chicken nachos were burnt on top, otherwise it was tasty.”

“Malibu was the first Italian restaurant we went to when we moved to Myrtle Beach. We loved it then and still do. However, on our recent visit, another couple joined us. We discovered they don’t do separate checks. They explained, but for 4 people adding up the bill isn’t hard. Most restaurants will do separate checks. The other thing I noticed, they’re portions have gotten smaller. The first time I had Mama’s sauce I could barely finish it. Not this time. Significantly smaller. I hope they change their portions.”

“We just moved in around tbe corner and decided to give it try. We were excited ! Honestly..eeh..Super dissapointing :(.We wanted to eat in and chill for a minute but it wasnt meant to be,lol. I used the restroom while they were making our order. 1 half of a pretty large toilet paper dispenser fell off , without being touched and hurt my leg and ankle. Then, went out to take a seat and asked for subway guest wifi password. They said they dont have one. I so I showed her my screen ,where it was asking for one. The head young lady ,tells me in several ways, they dont know it🤣 We ordered 2 meatball subs. I asked her 3 times for extra napkins. She abruptly told me 3 times they put them in the bag. I said thank you but, We will need a couple extra please. No go. When we opened the bag there were 2 small crumpled napkins in the very bottom. The subs tasted very good but had way to much sauce. I ruined my clothing as did my guest. Both wearing white of course 🤣🤣🤣. Idk, they need to be a bit more customer centric perhaps as we do have a subway on every corner pretty much in myrtle beach. We will go else where next time. UPDATE: Ijust went back inside the resturant and asked if I could please have some napkins now and / or a wet paper towel? I showed her my ruined clothes and told her 2 other people with us had ruined clothes as well. HERE'S THE KICKER! She was rude and I asked for her managers name. She told me she didnt have one! Owners card or name, NOPE! Finally, I asked who hired her? And she continued on, no boss, no manager, no owner ,I kid you not ! She finally said, we have a GM. My reply was great! What is his name? How can I contact him. She told me they dont know his name or how to contact anyone, no boss, no owner, no corp?! I wonder who pays her 😅”

“In the week that my family gathers in MB from Ohio and Georgia, we go to Crabby Mikes at least twice. We have been coming to the area for years and we always look forward to the buffet. Manager, Matt and his crew are exceptional! The food, no matter what we choose, is top-notch. Even My son-in-law, who does not like shellfish, finds plenty of things that he loves (carved prime rib and steak). Everything we try; soups, mains, sides, and desserts, are phenomenal. Crabby Mikes is always in our plans when we are at the beach!”

“This restaurant has the best French fries that I have ever eaten. The portions are huge. The catfish is unbelievable as is the cole slaw. The service was very quick and very nice. Not to mention the wonderful view of the ocean from our indoor table. I only wish that this was the first day of my trip and not the last. Their loaded fries appetizer is the best combination of flavors I’ve ever had! Loved everything we had, food and drinks, both visits. Very friendly and accommodating staff. “The food in Surfside is very good and service is as well, but, check for hidden fees and wrong prices. A side salad is an up charge of $2.50 as a side which we were not informed. I ordered a $10 drink during happy hour but was charged $14.90. So check before you order and check your ticket. Other than that you will enjoy the meal.”

“The food and prices are very good. It was just a little confusing when we arrived. There was no sign that said seat yourself (or we missed it) so we were kind of mulling around trying to figure it out. The tables were put together so there were not any tables for 2 or 4, just 6 or 8. Eventually we figured it out (seat yourself). Generally the bands play outside, but with iffy weather they played inside. I was so looking forward to being outside, but that being said, they were excellent! The Coastal Boys Band. The food was very good and we will be visiting again. It's just a relaxing local bar with good food, good music and a laid back atmosphere.”

“Virginia runs a really tight shift. Everything is clean and the food is exceptional. the minute you walk in the door they speak to you and you can tell they have a local following. We eat there twice a week. She deserves a gigantic Christmas bonus because people like that are hard to find!”

“Under new owners since mid-March 2025 and they are so friendly! Super customer service and gotta love Half Price Banana Splits every Thursday all day! They also have Buy One Scoop, Get One Free every Tuesday! The shop is very cute & plenty of room for seating. And ask for the card they stamp so that if you visit 5 times then you get a free ice cream! Look for the red & white striped awning!”

Buffet food was typical...nothing special...but wasn't bad by any means. Exactly what I would expect for this kind of place. Admittedly, better than most!

“Just moved to Myrtle Beach 2 days ago from upstate NY,, this was by far the best pizza I have ever had. Ordered a large pie with meatball ricotta, and this pizza was quite large, super thin crust, and tasted amazing. The price for the pizza was only 20 dollars,, very good deal in my book. Roma pizzaria is my go to pizza joint, and I highly recommend them”
