She was sick and unfortunately passed away in September...we decided to honor her with dinner here last friday (3/6) as it wwould have been her 89th birthday...Food/staff was exceptional and even with a heavy heart, it really made me smile!🥹”

“Best burgers and hand cut fries south of New York and by far one of the best ever! Been there several times. I get the Bison Burger, but have had the beef also and super juicy They also have a gluten free bun option not listed on the menu, but their ordinary buns cause me no issues, which is not typical. French fries are homemade and not too greasy or salty. Delicious. Can't recommend it enough. Excellent prices, service and portion size.”

“My family and I go to this restaurant multiple times when we vacation at the beach. We go to the beach a couple times a year and we always go here. I do not understand why anyone would go to these chain restaurants when this gem is right there. They have the absolute by far best omelette and their biscuit and gravy is awesome. This is a family owned restaurant and their food is sooo good. We were at the beach last week and we went there 3 times. My family loves raves and we will always support their business.”

“We have been enjoying your restaurant for many years,but last night was the first time we were disappointed. We brought a couple with us for their first time there.We had been praising everything about it but last night we ordered off the regular menu,not the early bird specials and the portions were smaller than what we had on the early bird specials! It was excellent as always,but we were still hungry when we left. We’re not huge eaters and usually have leftovers!”

“Malibu was the first Italian restaurant we went to when we moved to Myrtle Beach. We loved it then and still do. However, on our recent visit, another couple joined us. We discovered they don’t do separate checks. They explained, but for 4 people adding up the bill isn’t hard. Most restaurants will do separate checks. The other thing I noticed, they’re portions have gotten smaller. The first time I had Mama’s sauce I could barely finish it. Not this time. Significantly smaller. I hope they change their portions.”

“The food in Surfside is very good and service is as well, but, check for hidden fees and wrong prices. A side salad is an up charge of $2.50 as a side which we were not informed. I ordered a $10 drink during happy hour but was charged $14.90. So check before you order and check your ticket. Other than that you will enjoy the meal.”

“We just moved in around tbe corner and decided to give it try. We were excited ! Honestly..eeh..Super dissapointing :(.We wanted to eat in and chill for a minute but it wasnt meant to be,lol. I used the restroom while they were making our order. 1 half of a pretty large toilet paper dispenser fell off , without being touched and hurt my leg and ankle. Then, went out to take a seat and asked for subway guest wifi password. They said they dont have one. I so I showed her my screen ,where it was asking for one. The head young lady ,tells me in several ways, they dont know it🤣 We ordered 2 meatball subs. I asked her 3 times for extra napkins. She abruptly told me 3 times they put them in the bag. I said thank you but, We will need a couple extra please. No go. When we opened the bag there were 2 small crumpled napkins in the very bottom. The subs tasted very good but had way to much sauce. I ruined my clothing as did my guest. Both wearing white of course 🤣🤣🤣. Idk, they need to be a bit more customer centric perhaps as we do have a subway on every corner pretty much in myrtle beach. We will go else where next time. UPDATE: Ijust went back inside the resturant and asked if I could please have some napkins now and / or a wet paper towel? I showed her my ruined clothes and told her 2 other people with us had ruined clothes as well. HERE'S THE KICKER! She was rude and I asked for her managers name. She told me she didnt have one! Owners card or name, NOPE! Finally, I asked who hired her? And she continued on, no boss, no manager, no owner ,I kid you not ! She finally said, we have a GM. My reply was great! What is his name? How can I contact him. She told me they dont know his name or how to contact anyone, no boss, no owner, no corp?! I wonder who pays her 😅”

“Under new owners since mid-March 2025 and they are so friendly! Super customer service and gotta love Half Price Banana Splits every Thursday all day! They also have Buy One Scoop, Get One Free every Tuesday! The shop is very cute & plenty of room for seating. And ask for the card they stamp so that if you visit 5 times then you get a free ice cream! Look for the red & white striped awning!”

“By far the best restaurant we have eaten at from North Myrtle to Surfside! The blackened Mahi Mahi was the best I’ve ever eaten! It had my daughter & I fighting over the fork. Make sure to try the ribs, pulled pork & those fried green tomatoes too (they had me coming back to Virginia searching for green tomatoes). Our waitress, Shay, took wonderful care of us & almost has us convinced to make the move to Surfside. We’ll definitely be visiting every time we make the journey back to the coast.”

“Full disclosure, we planned to go to Dead Dog. But Murrels Inlet was a mad house and we weren't feeling like fighting the crowds and struggling to park. BEST DECISION EVER. First of all...Brandon? Literally the best. Fun, professional, warm and welcoming...we adore him. Food and drinks were delicious. We did the bacon cheesefries, the buffalo chicken sandwich, the banana peppers burger and a delightful little peanut butter and chocolate thing for dessert. Desiree was our server. Loved her. So helpful, efficient, friendly. And of course we bought shirts too. Cannot wait to go back. Great restaurant experience made even better by your amazing staff. Please share with them.❤️”
