“Myself, my daughter (then aged 5, she's 7 now), my mom, and sister went there for the very first time when we were vacationing in Myrtle Beach back in July 2023, and we absolutely LOVED it!! A bit pricey, but soooo worth it. The food and everything, was so awesome!! My daughter, absolutely LOVED seeing the mermaid, and the rest of us did, too!! We've never seen that sort of thing before, in a restaurant, so it's different. 🤗😄❤️”

For the past few years, we go back to MD to see my family and eat at Pappas for his birthday this time every year. We couldn't make it this year, so this was the time to try Casa Mia's. Will, you were absolutely right...so much better than Pappas and thankfully closer ta boot. Crab cake dinner with cream of crab soup on the side was PERFECT!! I've tried other places around in the Grand Strand area, and nothing comes even the slightest bit close to a REAL Maryland crab cake like what you have at Casa Mia's. I appreciate you making this birthday for him a continued ritual of a crab cake dinner. I appreciate ya!! I hope he remembers this for my birthday in December!!😁”

“Best burgers and hand cut fries south of New York and by far one of the best ever! Been there several times. I get the Bison Burger, but have had the beef also and super juicy They also have a gluten free bun option not listed on the menu, but their ordinary buns cause me no issues, which is not typical. French fries are homemade and not too greasy or salty. Delicious. Can't recommend it enough. Excellent prices, service and portion size.”

“We have been enjoying your restaurant for many years,but last night was the first time we were disappointed. We brought a couple with us for their first time there.We had been praising everything about it but last night we ordered off the regular menu,not the early bird specials and the portions were smaller than what we had on the early bird specials! It was excellent as always,but we were still hungry when we left. We’re not huge eaters and usually have leftovers!”

“Malibu was the first Italian restaurant we went to when we moved to Myrtle Beach. We loved it then and still do. However, on our recent visit, another couple joined us. We discovered they don’t do separate checks. They explained, but for 4 people adding up the bill isn’t hard. Most restaurants will do separate checks. The other thing I noticed, they’re portions have gotten smaller. The first time I had Mama’s sauce I could barely finish it. Not this time. Significantly smaller. I hope they change their portions.”

“great selection of pastries. I have to say I did try the chicken pot pie and was really disappointed. Very dry and had an odd taste to it. a waste of $25. Ended up throwing it out. Never again. My husband does love the cookies.”

“My family and I go to this restaurant multiple times when we vacation at the beach. We go to the beach a couple times a year and we always go here. I do not understand why anyone would go to these chain restaurants when this gem is right there. They have the absolute by far best omelette and their biscuit and gravy is awesome. This is a family owned restaurant and their food is sooo good. We were at the beach last week and we went there 3 times. My family loves raves and we will always support their business.”

“We had a great first visit. The pizza was delicious! They use Italian flour for their crust, and that's fabulous! Miles the manager checked in on us, and our server, Jo was fantastic! Highly recommend! We will be back!”

“The food in Surfside is very good and service is as well, but, check for hidden fees and wrong prices. A side salad is an up charge of $2.50 as a side which we were not informed. I ordered a $10 drink during happy hour but was charged $14.90. So check before you order and check your ticket. Other than that you will enjoy the meal.”

“We just moved in around tbe corner and decided to give it try. We were excited ! Honestly..eeh..Super dissapointing :(.We wanted to eat in and chill for a minute but it wasnt meant to be,lol. I used the restroom while they were making our order. 1 half of a pretty large toilet paper dispenser fell off , without being touched and hurt my leg and ankle. Then, went out to take a seat and asked for subway guest wifi password. They said they dont have one. I so I showed her my screen ,where it was asking for one. The head young lady ,tells me in several ways, they dont know it🤣 We ordered 2 meatball subs. I asked her 3 times for extra napkins. She abruptly told me 3 times they put them in the bag. I said thank you but, We will need a couple extra please. No go. When we opened the bag there were 2 small crumpled napkins in the very bottom. The subs tasted very good but had way to much sauce. I ruined my clothing as did my guest. Both wearing white of course 🤣🤣🤣. Idk, they need to be a bit more customer centric perhaps as we do have a subway on every corner pretty much in myrtle beach. We will go else where next time. UPDATE: Ijust went back inside the resturant and asked if I could please have some napkins now and / or a wet paper towel? I showed her my ruined clothes and told her 2 other people with us had ruined clothes as well. HERE'S THE KICKER! She was rude and I asked for her managers name. She told me she didnt have one! Owners card or name, NOPE! Finally, I asked who hired her? And she continued on, no boss, no manager, no owner ,I kid you not ! She finally said, we have a GM. My reply was great! What is his name? How can I contact him. She told me they dont know his name or how to contact anyone, no boss, no owner, no corp?! I wonder who pays her 😅”

“Under new owners since mid-March 2025 and they are so friendly! Super customer service and gotta love Half Price Banana Splits every Thursday all day! They also have Buy One Scoop, Get One Free every Tuesday! The shop is very cute & plenty of room for seating. And ask for the card they stamp so that if you visit 5 times then you get a free ice cream! Look for the red & white striped awning!”

“Love this place! Went there for the first time in June and couldn’t wait to go back. I live over an hour away and made the drive again yesterday. Their loaded fries appetizer is the best combination of flavors I’ve ever had! Loved everything we had, food and drinks, both visits. Very friendly and accommodating staff. “This restaurant has the best French fries that I have ever eaten. The portions are huge. The catfish is unbelievable as is the cole slaw. The service was very quick and very nice. Not to mention the wonderful view of the ocean from our indoor table. I only wish that this was the first day of my trip and not the last. “I was the Director of Operations for a very well-known family-run restaurant corporation before working as a paralegal, so I understand how many moving parts it takes to run a successful establishment.

This was my first visit to River City, and while the overall experience was warm, inviting, and marked by exceptional service, the food unfortunately fell short. We ordered two 10-piece wings — one all flats, fried naked, and the other tossed in buffalo sauce. I didn’t get all flats and they were not prepared as requested and were undercooked, requiring me to finish them in the oven. They were not good even after that. My husband, who usually eats every wing he orders, could only manage a few of his buffalo ones, which was disappointing given how much he praises River City.

That said, the house-made ranch and the French fries were absolutely fantastic, and the service truly stood out. The atmosphere while waiting was also very pleasant.

I still gave a 5-star review because I know how critical every department is in creating the full guest experience, and the team here clearly cares about hospitality. However, I strongly recommend revisiting how the wings are prepared they could make or break the meal.

I’m hopeful that next time will be different, because River City clearly has the foundation to be excellent.”

Enjoyed the atmosphere, food was excellent, and we had one of the best servers we’ve had in Myrtle Beach-I believe her name was Devin. She was on top of things and had such a fun personality! “The food and prices are very good. It was just a little confusing when we arrived. There was no sign that said seat yourself (or we missed it) so we were kind of mulling around trying to figure it out. The tables were put together so there were not any tables for 2 or 4, just 6 or 8. Eventually we figured it out (seat yourself). Generally the bands play outside, but with iffy weather they played inside. I was so looking forward to being outside, but that being said, they were excellent! The Coastal Boys Band. The food was very good and we will be visiting again. It's just a relaxing local bar with good food, good music and a laid back atmosphere.”

“Just moved to Myrtle Beach 2 days ago from upstate NY,, this was by far the best pizza I have ever had. Ordered a large pie with meatball ricotta, and this pizza was quite large, super thin crust, and tasted amazing. The price for the pizza was only 20 dollars,, very good deal in my book. Roma pizzaria is my go to pizza joint, and I highly recommend them”

“I've been coming to this DD for years almost every morning now and have very rarely been dissatisfied at the coffee/food. Service is always great and the people are real, not fake! We feel as if they treat us like family and because of that reason this will always be our Dunkin! Also got to give the managers (Especially Sherri) and workers two big thumbs up for all their hard work!!!”
