The Sweaty Pig sandwich was delicious and very filling. The chicken nachos had tons of toppings and were very flavorful. We also tried the briscuit/Mac n cheese egg roll and the sweet potato crunch. Again, delicious. April, our server, and Brock, the manager, were friendly and fun to talk to. From the time we walked in the door, we felt very welcome. Everything was delicious and just the way we would like it. We had the brisket, sweet potato casserole, and coleslaw, all of which were yummy. Even the iced tea was perfect . We would not recommend getting those. The pulled pork was good though a little dry. The sides were the best part. We had the cole slaw and onion rings. They were outstanding. They had several choices in BBQ sauce for you to try. We will be back, but probably just get the pull pork sandwich.“

“Really solid BBQ all around. The chopped pork sandwiches are the standout and easily what I would recommend to anyone going for the first time. I had the hog and it delivered exactly what you want from good barbecue. Tender, juicy pork with a deep smoky flavor and just the right amount of spice to give it some kick without overpowering the meat. It tastes like it’s been done the right way, low and slow.

The portions are satisfying and the sandwich comes together well without being a mess to eat. You can tell they know what they’re doing when it comes to balancing flavor and texture. It’s not trying to reinvent barbecue, it just executes the classics really well.

I don’t find myself going as often as I might otherwise, mostly because I do a lot of similar smoking at home. “DOES *NOT* RECOMMEND I came in on 4/2/24 at 4:30 and paid 42.00 dollars for a family pack and an extra side of meat. We sat down and waited for our order. After about 10 minutes of waiting, an elderly lady probably in her 60's told us we cannot stay and that it was takeout only. She made an assumption that we were even planning on dining in because not once were we asked. She then proceeded to say that they didn't charge us for dine in, so we politely asked if we could pay the extra fee for the plates and dine in costs. She was extremely rude and just kept arguing with us. Even after my wife said, "that's fine we will leave, but can we please get a refund since you're obviously not bringing us our food," she continued to make us feel extremely unwelcome and essentially kicked us out. She just kept saying, "sorry this is strict policy you need to leave." My wife asked for a refund again, and the kid that originally took our order finally gave us the refund.. I don't usually feel discriminated against but she had a personal issue with me and my kids (who were being extremely respectful and just drinking their lemonade the whole time). I will not dine here again. I will not support any business that it partners with. I would highly appreciate hearing back from the owner who we were told was not currently in.“

“I wanted to love this location, but my recent visit was a bit of a letdown. The drive-thru is often backed up and the layout can be confusing for newcomers. I ordered a bacon grilled chicken sandwich around 6 PM. While the bacon, veggies, and bun were all fresh and delicious, the grilled chicken was incredibly disappointing—it was shriveled and looked overcooked. I really hope this was just a one-off! Service was also mixed; the gentleman at the window was fantastic, but the person taking my order could use some customer service training. I'll still give Cook Out another chance, but I hope the food quality improves.“

“My hamburger steak was so seasoned I couldn't eat it, my granddaughter chicken nuggets was so salty she didn't want to eat them either, the ribeye was on the thin side and over cooked asked for medium. Service was on point and it was Father's Day as well and she did phenomenal. We waited for hour for table and there was no wiggle room to be had. Wall to wall people and very loud but we had a good time.“
