I said "and more" because they have chicken and chops. Fresh fish market and also deserts and fresh made crackling. “Food was delicious. I had blackened catfish over rice and the best collards ever as a side. My husband had the stuffed chicken, collards and baked mac and cheese. Excellent. Service was great, and the staff delightful. We stayed at Tru by Hilton nearby Wednesday April 10, and the woman at hotel desk told us food was great there. We were so glad we tried it. Wish I lived nearby, I’d be a regular. Unfortunately we were heading back from Florida to eastern Long Island, but I’ll make sure to stop in Florence again when going that way, since I know we can have a delicious meal there. Thank you!“

“Seems like no one ever cleans the tables after patrons leave. Have had to wait numerous times for tables to be cleaned so we could get a seat and restaurant was not busy. Was more like everyone was waiting on someone else to do the dirty work. Food is great.“

“I went today 12/30/23 to pick up something quick for my mom who was just released from the hospital.The order was wrong which they corrected it should have kept the other food. Eggs were hard when we asked for scrambled medium and cold. My eggs were not even cooked still very raw. It wAs poached but raw not good so I never got my eggs then I had a handful of cold potatoes. She clearly just moved the potatoes from one bin to another. Egg muffin was the same not fresh and the Canadian sausage was dry. Very disappointed. Will not be going back for a while. Hire cooks who don't have an attitude when u ask them to coôk it over“

“We’re from central Massachusetts. We were on our way down to Disney, and were staying the night in Florence, SC. I did a quick search on Yelp, thought the menu for 1720 looked good, so we decided to give it a try. I have to say, it’s been a very long time since I was that satisfied/overjoyed by the food in a restaurant. My kids, my husband and myself were floored by the food we ordered. Everything we tasted was phenomenal. Our service was exceptional (despite them being understaffed), and our overall experience was one to remember. We haven’t stopped talking about that food since the night we ate there. Wish we lived closer.“

We get the Texas Bacon Cheese Melt with double hash browns double cheese and double smoked ham, I get mushrooms on mine and I get grilled mushrooms on the side STORM is the BEST I know my order will be right and it will be good. I asked for details about about the beer I selected, and the young lady tapper pointed to the owner and said, "Steven will be happy to answer any questions you have." Damn straight. He gave me a brewery tour and educated me, a decades old homebrewer.He crafts excellent beer, but more importantly, is an embassador that welcomes any and all as friends.“

“Had Haley as my server and she is top-notch, while I ate, Daniel, the back of the house manager stopped by and he was extremely professional and kind and to top off my night since I was eating alone, a very beautiful, young and energetic manager stopped by and she spent some time with me just talking about things. It really made me feel at home since I was alone eating tonight. There is no way Rachel is a new manager , she is definitely a seasoned professional.“

“My husband always gets the pizza, sometimes he has a burger. He always orders the pizza with no sauce or oil and no extra seasoning sprinkled on top. He's allergic to garlic and onions. Several times we've had the kitchen manager take time out of his very busy schedule to come talk with us about the allergy note the waitress put on the order. We typically go on a Friday night to hear the live music and it is crowded so for him to come out and talk directly with us was something! We aren't beer drinkers so we can't comment on the brews. Love the fact that they do some special meals. I've had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and Leroy Brown sauce. It's my favorite of the specials. The ham and Gouda cheese egg rolls are awesome too! Recently, I stepped out of my normal order and asked if they could modify the BLT and put pimento cheese instead of mayo. They were more than happy and now I have another favorite menu item! The pretzel and honey butter is always a hit!!“

We actually went somewhere else, and when Rich found out Starfire was back open, we left and came here.Upon sitting down, he was reminded of the fresh biscuits with honey, that they bring to the table. Take note of video....lol. He thoroughly enjoyed them!! It was my mom's 1st visit, and our server had to bring two rounds of biscuits.I had the cheeseburger sliders with bacon and broccoli ?. The two sliders had regular patty size meat, appreciate that it was just enough for me. Yum!!! Everyone agreed that the broccoli with lemon was delicious. Mom had the patty melt. It was a bit too much cheese for her, but if you like cheese, get it!Rich had the Greek potatoes and onion rings. Nicely sized, generous portion and the onion used were Vidalia onions!So we all left full and enjoyed the meal!Can't leave out her server, Carrie. She was an excellent server.
