“We had lunch at the Whistle Stop on Labor Day. The service was welcoming and wonderful! The food was delicious and just what we ordered. We also enjoyed the live music on the rooftop. My husband and I would definitely stop by again when traveling through Travelers Rest, SC.“

“Mike and Jeff's is one of the last SC BBQ style restaurants in Greenville, and it's absolutely perfect. Growing up here, most BBQ places were basically smoke-filled shacks on the side of the road, and there was no better place to eat. Walking into Mike and Jeff's is like walking back into my childhood here in Greenville. Beyond the nostalgia, their food is excellent, all of their sauces are delicious (if you like truly spicy BBQ sauce, ask for their XXX Sauce, it's by request only, and it's spectacular), and their pulled pork and ribs are excellent (the ribs are country style ribs, not baby back), the sides are great, and their cheeseburgers are surprisingly good. Definitely a hidden gem in Greenville, and well worth the trip anytime.“

“No matter what you get here it’s great. I get the smoked wing plate with extra sides and it’s excellent every time. The baked beans are really good too. Fried ribs are definitely worth having. The nachos are really tasty too. Great place to eat and there’s usually doggies in the outdoor eating area which is really cool, love the dogs and Moe’s.“

“If you're looking for the local place with good food, this is it! We all enjoyed our meals. Brisket and ribs were fantastic! The kids enjoyed hot dogs. It did take about 20 minutes to get our food. We enjoyed picking out a couple of treasures from the thrift shop while we waited. Will definitely be marking this as a place to return to!“

“Regarding barbecue, what you want The Taste is meat and smoke. Smoking meat! This place came through in spades. I ordered the large barbecue sandwich with coleslaw and sweet sauce. It's really two meals...the food that stays on the bun and the food that's left over after the bun disappears. The meat left over covered the plate, no joke! Would eat again and again.“

“We ordered Henry’s Catering for a work luncheon and WOW. We received very quick responses from their catering and ordering online was so easy peasy with how sweet their team is. Food was delivered on time and set up very quickly. Our staff REALLY enjoyed this for our meal and we are so glad we chose to have the meal catered by Henry’s.“

“I tried the Classic Philly cheese steak, with provolone cheese. Fries for a side. The cheese steak was tasty and had plenty of steak, peppers, and onions. I'd definitely order it again. There's plenty of seating as it's part of a food hall establishment. Along with a burger place and tap room. Outside seating available too.“

Why do you have hushpuppies and no fish as well as hot dogs and no saurkraut? Not a complaint, just an observation.“

“Maybe I've spoiled myself with frequent trips to Ruth's Chris, Halls, !and Justin's, but my most recent trip to Longhorn in Easley wasn't the best experience. To no fault of her own, the bartender was stretched thin with no help. We had to wait for everything, but so did everyone who sat in the bar area. The Ribeye I had was seasoned perfectly, but not cooked to order (medium). The steamed broccoli wasn't steamed, more like it came straight from the garden. I've had better experiences, this review was based off my most recent visit. I'd still give it another shot.“
