“I’ve been looking for a decent barbecue spot for a while, and overall I was pleased with this one. Not the best barbecue I’ve had, but definitely not the worst.

I ordered the half rack of dry-rubbed ribs with fries and mac and cheese. The ribs were cooked phenomenally. My only complaint is that I wish the dry rub had a little more flavor, though their sauces definitely helped make up for it. The mac and cheese was okay, and the fries were a little oily and unsalted, but since this was a to-go order, that was an easy fix at home.

One minor frustration was receiving a text that our order was ready when it actually wasn’t, resulting in a wait. A little annoying, but not a major inconvenience.

“Has the best BBQ around and had no idea.I grew up down the street coming here over 50yrs ago but thought it was closed. Got some twice already and love everything they have! Best BBQ! Best slaw and baked beans! And their sauces are to die for! Be back for the 4th for sure!“

“My wife and I have lived in South Korea and we highly recommend this restaurant. The food is authentic but not as spicy (to accommodate US sensitive palates). If you want it spicy, you can order this option and let your waiter/ess know.

“I tried the Classic Philly cheese steak, with provolone cheese. Fries for a side. The cheese steak was tasty and had plenty of steak, peppers, and onions. I'd definitely order it again. There's plenty of seating as it's part of a food hall establishment. Along with a burger place and tap room. Outside seating available too.“

“My hamburger steak was so seasoned I couldn't eat it, my granddaughter chicken nuggets was so salty she didn't want to eat them either, the ribeye was on the thin side and over cooked asked for medium. Service was on point and it was Father's Day as well and she did phenomenal. We waited for hour for table and there was no wiggle room to be had. Wall to wall people and very loud but we had a good time.“

“I had salmon, substituted potatoes for the rice, steamed broccoli, and the strawberry and pecan salad. It was all delicious. The chef hit every step just right. The strawberry, pecan salad was sweet and tangy. The ingredients were fresh and crisp. The perfectly seared salmon melted in your mouth. It was hot, moist, and amazing. Even the mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli were made to perfection.“

“I wanted to love this location, but my recent visit was a bit of a letdown. The drive-thru is often backed up and the layout can be confusing for newcomers. I ordered a bacon grilled chicken sandwich around 6 PM. While the bacon, veggies, and bun were all fresh and delicious, the grilled chicken was incredibly disappointing—it was shriveled and looked overcooked. I really hope this was just a one-off! Service was also mixed; the gentleman at the window was fantastic, but the person taking my order could use some customer service training. I'll still give Cook Out another chance, but I hope the food quality improves.“
