“My boyfriend and I stopped in for a glass of wine, we weren't sure exactly what we wanted but our server Rae was so sweet and incredibly helpful she recommended some flights for us based on our taste and they were perfect!! We got the house made ricotta to start and it was so delightfully lemony and light and then we followed it up with the brussel sprouts and it was perfect. Highly recommend this spot after a delightful walk in falls Park 10/10 will be back again! ?“

“My wife and I scheduled a five day trip to Greenville. It was our first time in the city. We were here for one business meeting and the rest of the time to relax. For our first dinner we chose The Trappe Door, a Belgian restaurant located below ground in a space designed to look like an old European pub/tavern. Our server Sierra did a great job helping us pick some favorites off the menu. To start we tried their version of Beef Tartare. Served on tasty crostinis with a lemon pesto it paired perfectly with Westmalle Dubbel beer and Getrank Veltliner wine. We followed the beef with a Flemish Onion Soup. Unlike its French cousin, this soup had a puree potatoe base with small pieces of bread and gruyere cheese. We liked this version which was much lighter than what people expect from onion soup despite the potatoes. We kept focusing on the appetizers and tried the Baked Brie. The cheese was beautifully wrapped in a puff pastry and served on a framboise reduction. I had to ask what that was, but your taste bads will answer, sweet and savory goodness. Apple slices, crackers and honey glazed pecans served as accoutrements. We finished our meal by sharing the Sautéed Duck Breast that was drizzled with a cherry beer sauce and served with shallot and bacon-diced potatoes and asparagus. The asparagus was the size of California Redwood trees, but the potatoes were cooked perfectly and soaked up the leftover cherry sauce. Paired the duck with a Kasteel Donker Quad. Sierra's service was excellent despite being very busy on a Tuesday night. Ask for her and she will help you maximize your experience. If you have a free night in town check this place out over others who get more hype. ---------- When my wife and I were planning our trip to Greenville, we chose CAMP Modern American Eatery as the first restaurant to visit. The menu looked fantastic. After our dinner was completed, I would say the food was not just fantastic, is was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Yes it is made up word, but it has a made up meaning too: "extraordinarily good, wonderful." Executive Chef Diego Campos has crafted a menu that has a very unique blend of flavors for his dishes using a wide variety of ingredients from different cusines. We tried three of his creations during our visit: Goat Cheese Gnudi, Seared Scallops and the Jamon Iberico. OK, I know Jamon Iberico with cantaloupe balls is not creating new territory, but I have a love affair with this meat. I did not cheat on my wife with this meat. I shared it with her. She loved it too. The Goat Cheese Gudi dish, on the other hand, illustrates his talent. The dish features two perfected deep fried goat cheese balls with Black Mission Figs, brunoised Granny Smith Apples and pistachios all tossed in browned butter and honey. The components together will treat your mouth to an explosion of flavors. The Seared Scallops dish features four medium-size scallops on top of a semi-firm corn pudding. Cilantro, pepita gremolata, chorizo foam and cippolini onions surround the corn pudding. With a myriad of flavors assaulting your pallet all at once, it's hard to say what is the best part of the entrée. The service is excellent and the staff can talked in great details about the dishes, showing the Chef has prepared his team well to interact with customers. If you're in Greenville, this place needs to be on your list of places to visit. You will become an apostle like me once you sample its wares.“

“After local recommendations that Cazbah has the best tapas in Greenville, we tried it for a Saturday date night. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Greenville has A LOT of great eateries, and Cazbah is a top contender for the best. The food is unique and DELICIOUS. The cocktails are the perfect companion for sharing small plates. Devin, our server, was excellent. We enjoyed every minute at Cazbah, and would highly recommend it to anyone enjoying the food scene in Greenville.“
“Pretty sweet neighborhood taproom. Friendly staff with a great large open space to relax and hang out. Games, lots of TVs, special events, wine tastings, and it’s always super family friendly. Bring the pup out anytime as well, the staff love dogs. If their parking lot is full, just park at the liquor store after 7pm or on the side street by Dollar General.“

“One of our favorites in Greenville, SC, especially in the non-downtown area. Sometimes we just go for some wings. The peppercorn crusted sirloin is amazing. I really like their seasonal favorites, as there are new and unique choices outside of the regular menu. I even tried the Impossible Burger. Looked like beef, tasted like beef, but one hundred percent plant based (was trying to go low cal today). The servers are always friendly and the atmosphere is modern and energetic. Highly recommended!“
