“We’ve longed for a date night spot in Walterboro and have finally found one!! Tavern on the Green was so delicious!! There were so many unique options, I’m glad they’re nearby so we can try them all! My husband could tell the chicken carbonara was an actual carbonara sauce- not just Alfredo with bacon in it. I had a bison burger over salad with mushrooms and onions, which I was delighted to see were in a red wine reduction!! It’s family friendly and will become one of our regular spots!!!“

“I would like to give a HUGE shout out to our server earlier whose name was Gabi.Even though they were slammed earlier and it was pretty busy in there for lunch,she was just so sweet and kept checking up on us to make sure we were all good,while doing the same for other tables.She was very patient,soft-spoken,and just a bundle of joy.She was probably one of the best servers I have ever had in a restaurant,and she just made our experience there so lovely.I personally don’t go to this restaurant that much,but each time I go here,my experience has been lovely,with lovely servers.But Miss Gabi is just so much more awesome and joyful compared to some other servers I have experienced.I just wanted to give a shoutout to her for making my personal experience here above and beyond.“

“There are a couple of truck parking spaces here in a little dirt lot to the side.Woke up, ran in to grab some coffee, and the food looked good enough to try.It was a little expensive for what it was but I hadn’t had fried bologna in a while so grabbed it with some fresh scrambled eggs, bacon and a coffee refill in my own cup and the bill came to $10.So fair enough! Everything looked fresh in the early morning and more food was still coming out.TRUCK DRIVERS/ FLATBEDDERS BE CAREFUL LEAVING!There is a low clearance sign and as you can see, you can get stuck! This is in the back of the store headed onto a side street, turn around and head back out onto 17!Grateful for a spot to park even after not getting here until midnight.“

The cut was perfect—tender, juicy, and grilled to absolute perfection. You can taste the quality in every bite. Derek and his staff went above and beyond. The service was warm, attentive, and genuine—like visiting family, if your family happens to serve up a world-class steak. This place is a hidden gem in South Carolina. “I recently dined at Waffle House and was thoroughly impressed. The service was truly spectacular — attentive, friendly, and efficient, far exceeding my expectations. The food was equally outstanding; every bite was flavorful and satisfying. I highly recommend trying their chili as well as the Texas Bread, both of which were phenomenal. “Visited the IHOP in Walterboro, SC yesterday to pick up a local offices catering order. Upon arrival I was greated immediately and told the order would be right out. Ms Gail came from the back with multiple trays, bags and containers of hot coffee. She was very friendly and engaging. She explained everything in the order and went the extra mile to make sure the order was simple to set up and display for the office. It was breathe of fresh air to be engaged by someone who truly cares about the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their customers. Will definitely be retuning with my own family to enjoy more of the positive vibe she exuded.“
