“A friend and I have regular dinner dates at Terra and we always have a great time! Tonight we had the shishito peppers, Chinese pork belly, snapper and the braised lamb pappardelle followed by the olive oil cake with sweet cream eggplant ice cream. We both agreed it was one of our top meals over the past several years at Terra and cannot wait until our next date! Quality, consistency and service are always top notch, and the one time we tried another restaurant for our date night we totally regretted it and went right back to Terra for our next meetup. Thank you Terra for being so reliable and delivering some of the best bites in the area, you are our gem!“

“What! As a patron way back in the Food Lion strip mall days, this was hands down the best buffet in town, & sad when they closed. I watched when they broke ground on this new location. I couldn't be the first to enjoy since now I have an autistic child of habit, new isn't easy for us. Using my Super Mama powers, we went for lunch on his birthday in January. I do not have enough room on here to describe the ambiance, cleanliness, kindness, etc... Lucas & I will NOT EVER eat out anywhere else, not even fast food joints kids are attracted to. You get your own hibachi chef, sushi buffet with chef, "traditional" American foods, full salad bar, bars full of Chinese & Chinese-American foods, soups, desserts, superior service, a really undescribable without experiencing for yourself just daily lunch. So much deliciousness to even attempt to enjoy in a 2-hour visit for the price of chicken nuggets, fries, drink, & shake at fast food joints! If the lunch is mind (gut) blowing, supper must be out of this world! Soon. I have to judge many places by staff because of my son, who not only rolled out the red carpet for him/us, but innumerable amounts of other-abled folks, which is important to me. I have traveled & eaten at many places. I now have built-in ADA EYE. My eyes have never, ever, laid eyes on wait staff, or owners, who help a blind person or someone in a wheelchair get tabled and then helped with food selections, plating, and seated to enjoy. Care, respect, not enough words for this either. I have heard the owners waited 15+ years, raising $1,000,000 to create a dream for themselves and their patrons. Where in Columbia, Lexington, Orangeburg, Sumter, Charlotte, Augusta, Greenville, Charleston, Atlanta, and so on, can you get the same? Send me a Gmail & we will talk! “Its a small, quaint little artsy type of Cafe with interesting art hanging on the walls and pretty funny/cute signs near the coffee area. I got the breakfast burrito and really enjoyed it. Its not over priced on most of the items on the menu and could easily be a nice get together type of place.“

The Chicken Charleston was fabulous! The blonde woman who took the order was patient and kind. The woman that got my lid on my cup was oh so pleasant. Being 62, I have trouble with a lot of easy jobs in my youth, and she was friendly with a warm smile. Plenty of seats. The prices were comparable to other deli places ( Jimmy John, Subway, etc) but a whole lot better atmosphere with seating, air conditioning comfort, TV's, and salad bar. I want to go back more often. I didn't spend anything, my friend treated me for my birthday.“

“I love coming here when I get the chance. The food is good amazing, the service however isnt always so. I now only come on nights because the manager Jamie is always so kind and aware because of past experiences with other managers being rude. I have to give her a lot of props... she is always sweet and makes sure my order is right. I wish I took pictures but I was so hungry“

“I never leave reviews, but this place is just too good to not share. The drinks are unique and delicious (My favorite is the Island Boi, or the Orange Creamsicle one, or maybe the Coco Loco one 😂😂). And the food is incredible! I’ve never had anything there that I didn’t love. My favorites are the hush puppies, hummus, Veg Fil A sandwich, and the rice and beans bowl. This time when we went, the chef added protein crumbles, nacho cheese, and green onions on top and it was even better. My son loves the Hoot sandwich and he’s 10 years old and usually non-vegan….so that’s a huge compliment to the flavor of that sandwich. On top of all this, the place is just cool. The atmosphere is so comfortable and inviting, like I could stay all night if I didn’t have to put my kid to bed! 🤣 I just really love this place and I’m so glad to see it added to our neighborhood!!“

“I make a point to drop in here every time I’m in Columbia. The chia pudding is incredible and so filling. It lasts me for two meals. I tried the ice cream (vegan) for the first time last time I was there and it knocked my socks off. So dense, so creamy, and guilt free due to all natural ingredients. “We went to celebrate our anniversary. We were greeted with kindness, understanding, and genuine care. Alex was a fantastic server and the other wait staff were very attentive. He knew what to suggest on the menu and provided us with great options. Our steaks were delicious and the sides (baked corn and lobster mac-n-cheese) were so tasty. We left with our bellies full and feeling well taken care of. Such an amazing place to go for date night or a special occasion.“

“This was my first visit. I had a 7:30 reservation and arrived 30 minutes early. Seated by 7:15. Our waiter Marcus, was quite pleasant and provided great feedback of our meal choice. He was quick and attentive. For our first course, we had local beet salad and mussels. Absolutely delicious!!! For the entree we had the swordfish replacement, Tilefish ( because they sold out of the swordfish). We’ve never heard of Tilefish and it was a great choice!!The shrimp and grits was delicious and savory. The only thing we were not to happy with was the cold air coming from the patio. It was a rather cool night. It was hard to relax because we were cold, sadly. I’m sure the atmosphere would have been better if we were not so cold. The parking is extremely tight and small so expect to possibly park on the street or use the valet parking. Overall, I would return again.“

“This is one of my favorite spots in Columbia! They have an amazing rooftop with great energy. You can get food up there too although the menu is slightly limited and more geared towards small plates-- which makes sense for a rooftop anyway! In the main dining area service is excellent. “Passing through town and had to check this place out especially for the new pinball machine “Jaws”. The BLT I had with their in house made bread was fantastic along with a wonderful beer selection. They also have many craft can beers for purchase, wish I had taken the time to check them out. Looking forward to sporting my t-shirt I purchased.“

“I wanted to rave about the manager, Eddie, and chef, Jonathan. On Friday, I inquired about accommodating my stringent dietary restrictions, and they proactively exceeded expectations. My requirements included the exclusive use of pure olive oil in the preparation of my meal. Initially, I expressed concern that my options might be limited to broccoli and a simple salad. Manager Eddie assured me that this was unacceptable and suggested I contact the chef the following day to discuss my needs. Following this conversation, Chef Jonathan promptly developed a suitable solution. I ordered the brick chicken, prepared using only olive oil, rosemary, and thyme—a dish perfectly aligned with my dietary limitations. The meal was exquisite, and I thoroughly enjoyed dining with my friends. accommodate my very strict food intolerances, and they went out of their way to do just that. I needed my dishes to be cooked in pure olive oil, amongst other things. At first, I told Eddie it looked like I could only have broccoli and a salad with minimal toppings. He said, "You can't come here and just eat salad and broccoli." He then said to call the next day, and he would get the chef on the phone to discuss my food concerns. I called the next day, and Jonathan quickly had an idea. I ordered the brick chicken, which only had olive oil, rosemary, and thyme. Exactly what I was able to eat. It was delicious, and I was so thrilled to eat out with my friends. I so appreciate both of them going out of their way for me.“
