One of Deadwood Gulch Gaming's employees has made disrespectful comments towards the shooting death of Charlie Kirk. This is something the company should take HIGHLY seriously. I will post a screenshot of said comment in the replied beneath:
We have been playing, dining and staying at Deadwood Gulch for many years, but after today’s experience, we will never return there, nor would we recommend anyone stay, play or dine (not really much available in terms of dining anyway).
They have changed ownership recently and have removed almost every machine that the majority of the local players loved. They also wiped out everyone’s earned comps with no warning, and refused to honor the free play normally given...read full review
I travel alot, and coming to Deadwood, I Highly recommend the Gulch. Rooms are VERY Clean, I think the Bed is better than my own at home, and they have FREE BREAKFAST! The Bonus is , I won 2000$ last time, and won 500 just walking to my room. It's not on the Strip, but WOW, Impressed.

Based on guest reviews, Deadwood Gulch Gaming Resort offers a mixed experience. The resort is located just outside the main strip of downtown Deadwood, which provides a quieter, more relaxed setting surrounded by beautiful pine trees and a rushing creek. The rooms are described as fairly traditional and casual, but exceptionally clean, spacious, and provide a great night's sleep. Some guests noted that rooms can be small, with one mentioning a room had been "re-bathed" so many times it was more re than bath. The property features an on-site casino and a restaurant with a great outdoor terrace by the water. However, the gaming area is sparse with mostly slots and no table games, and some noted less gaming machines than before. The beautiful restaurant/candy store shown in pictures is no longer there, and a new restaurant is opening in the spring or summer, so only small snack type items are currently available. The staff provides fantastic customer service, with one guest mentioning a young man at the front desk who gave water and was very accommodating. The hotel is a good distance from town, but the $2 trolley stops out front. One guest warned about a "Best Price Guarantee" gimmick, finding a different hotel for $700 less.
