“We stopped in here for dinner on the last night of our honeymoon. My husband and I are suckers for anything vintage, western, and of course good food.
We had Reece (i apologize if that is the incorrect spelling) as our server. He did a fantastic job. Was able to answer all of our questions and if he wasn't sure he made sure to get the answer we needed. When we asked for bill it came to our surprise another table paid our tab due to over hearing us discussing it was our honeymoon. On top of that Reece gave us one of their most popular wines as a gift and told us congratulations.
We split an order of wings with their award winning sauces. The flavoring in these sauces were unbeatable and next level. Being from Chicago we have a wide variety of foods filled with so much flavor and these wings would fit in perfectly! We also had the Mac and cheese bites. Once again amazing! Cannot say enough positive about the food we had.
When I say these wings are good we were informed we got the last order of the night due to they sold out of them by 7:30 and this is a frequent tragedy rumor has it.
Chutes made our top 3 dinning experiences for our week in South Dakota! Wish we stopped in there last week so we could have enjoyed the live country music they have Thursday-Saturday! Definitely on our radar for our next trip!“

“For a meal at one of South Dakota’s biggest tourist stops, this was a pleasant surprise.

We ordered the pepperoni flatbread pizza, and it made for an easy, satisfying lunch while visiting Mount Rushmore. Plenty of pepperoni, a good amount of cheese, and a crisp flatbread-style crust.

Prices were pretty reasonable too, especially considering you’re eating inside a major tourist attraction where the “tourist tax” can sometimes strike harder than the dark side.

There’s a large amount of indoor seating, plus outdoor tables for those days when the Black Hills weather cooperates. The marketplace also has a decent variety of other options, so groups with different tastes should be able to find something.

Convenient, reasonably priced, and a solid place to recharge before continuing your Mount Rushmore adventure.“
