“This campground/cabins are off the beaten path. Honestly, we weren’t sure when we pulled in, but the price was amazing, & if it was horrible we would leave in the morning. We were shocked and excited with how nice the cabins were set up and the bathrooms are nicer and cleaner than some of the chain campgrounds we’ve stayed at!!! The owners/hosts were also very friendly and we cannot recommend this place enough!!! Super stay—just remember to bring your own bedding!“

“Rally-only review: I've driven past there for 20+ years and always meant to stop but never did. I'm glad that I finally made the time. Beer and wine only on-sale, some hard liquor off-sale. Friendly low-key place, nothing fancy and I liked it that way. I'll be back.“
“I love the blackhawk lounge i use to frequent often but since my first day stepping in that door to have a beer i have loved it it's that happy great folks good servicebmake you feel right at home kinda bar it may not be my hometown bar but it's the bar that made me fully adopt blackhawk as my fresh new start at life and as a former chef i give it 5 outta 5 everytime this is the bar to relax at my friends“
“Lovely small town bar, great service and atmosphere. Cheap beer, didn't seem to be food available when I went but I didn't ask.I did have a pickled asparagus that was offered to me, that was good. I definitely recommend this place for anybody who likes the small town feel and cheap “
