Rapid City is plagued with not-well-maintained fast food joints. What I meaning, there's no trash laying around but the tables and/or floor have a greasy feel. The food was okay and the service was so-so. I assumed the cashier was new when she didnt know what was on one of the burgers.
This place made me the best baked potato of all Wendy’s stores between here and the surrounding states. I’m a vegan traveler and I know my baked potatoes and this one in Rapid City. Gave my potato the respect it deserved. Many stores Wendy’s stores make awful potatoes and I comment accordingly. But this is my favorite. Also the fries were fresh. I enjoyed it with chives and bbq sauce.
I stopped in the other night and unfortunately it was after lobby hours, but luckily the door was unlocked. When the manager saw me, he told me the lobby was closed and I would have to use the drive through. I politely asked if I could walk through the drive through since I was driving a semi. The frosties are decent, although the new frosty sea carmel is too sweet. The restrooms need updating, but overall, Wendy's is a dependable choice for a satisfying meal.
