“We were there on a Sunday afternoon during a return trip from Regina to Saskatoon. We're wrong to assume that it was a slow time of day. They had just been slammed with a large group.
It appeared that there was only 1 server on and she was toughing it out but overwhelmed busy. We made the choice to wait, but it was a while before we received menus and longer for our order to be taken. Eventually another woman, presumably the manager, came in to help.
Yes we could have walked out, but visiting this place was important to me because my late brother had talked to me about it shortly before he passed. I wanted to stop in while in the province and passing by.
We just ordered something simple (poutine and wings) because it was taking so long. The food was excellent!
I took Service stars away, not because the lovely young server wasn't doing a great job, but because management should have anticipated that large groups of bikers would be out on a beautiful late-fall afternoon and staffed accordingly.”
