“This place has definitely seen better days. Looks a bit rough inside and out. We went because my friend had spent some time there as a kid but we found it difficult to find because the trees have grown up around the sign, so it's not visible from the road. We didn't stay in the hotel but visited the restaurant and bar. Staff was pleasant and helpful, the place is clean, and the ambience at the dinner hour was comfortable and friendly. Bar seating is a bit sketchy. Plywood stalls in the bathroom (one out of order). I would go back but if you're fussy about places, be prepared.“
