“It’s been a number of years since we frequented Kayne Prime due to a move out of state. Last night’s experience was excellent. We were celebrating my husband’s retirement and each staff member we encountered asked about it, congratulated him and took care to make it notable. You also upped your game with the cute goat cheese tarts and palette cleanser. Last night was truly an experience above the excellent meal you are known for. We are blessed to have dined in many high end restaurants and last night you especially rose to the top. Must shout out our server Matthew. He is so knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Thank you for going above and beyond. It was a night and meal to remember!“

“Gluten free friends, the wait staff here were very helpful and knowledgeable. The food is flavorful and delicious. Lots of good choices. We shared the edamame, cashew salad, crispy rice and salmon. All very good! Others in my party had sushi and said it was wonderful. Cocktails/mocktails were amazing. Highly recommend reservations.

David, Mikey, and Taylor went out of their way to make our experience incredible. David made us custom cocktails based on our preferences and he hit every mark. I will be visiting present tense on a weekly basis at this point based on the service alone (the great food and cocktails are just an added benefit).“

“Fantastic meal! Love the menu. We sat outside but beautifully elegant ambience inside. About an hour or so before we walked over to eat I stopped in and got a menu and the ladies at the hostess podium were super kind. When we came back we were again met by a very helpful employee, Delilah. She sat us immediately and ended up being our server for the meal. She was thorough and knowledgeable. The service and the meal were perfect! We will absolutely be regularly returning and we will be requesting Delilah every time. Great experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone! P.S.- They do lunch from 12-3pm, happy hour (including apps) from 3-6pm. And apparently they have a rooftop (kid friendly) open on Friday & Saturday evenings until 12am.“

“We had a fantastic dinner at Asahi tonight! The owner is so sweet, funny and attentive. I ordered two sushi rolls with miso soup and my husband had the Pad Kee Mao. Both were excellent; the Thai noodles in particular were so flavorful. It’s hard to find somewhere that has both delicious Thai and Japanese cuisine. Service was excellent, fast and very attentive. “I ordered chicken fried rice (which was delicious) but I got a good-sized bone in one bite. I called it to our server’s attention and showed her and her response was “I’m sorry. That’s scary.” No, dear. That’s not the correct response. In many cases part of the meal is comped for a kitchen error. That didn’t happen.“

“We tried this lovely and delicious restaurant last night. The first thing I learned was they have two menus- one for sushi/sashimi and one for Thai cuisine. This review is about the Thai menu choices. Their menu is available online. There are many different and delicious sounding rice and noodle dishes with veggies that you can order with your choice of chicken, meat, seafood, or tofu. Their diverse menu also offers a tempting selection of fried rice dishes, appetizers, soups, and desserts. They ask you to let them know if you would like your dish to have some heat, and how much. Prices are comparable with or even less than other Thai restaurants I’ve been to. My brother chose red curry, made with coconut milk and mouth wateringly good with veggies, chicken, and jasmine rice. I had pho, a Vietnamese soup. The huge and certainly dinner-size bowl of oh so good luscious broth was filled with noodles, veggies, pork that I chose, and basil, bean sprouts, and slices of jalapeño pepper and lime on the side to be added as desired. I dumped them all in and dug in. Ummm umm SO good, YUM! We had mango sticky rice for dessert. If you like mangos, I’d say this dessert is not to be missed! The rice IS sticky. In fact it’s stuck together- sweet and especially delicious with the mango. The staff was extremely helpful, welcoming and warm and friendly. They enthusiastically answered my questions. We ate in the restaurant. Very clean and attractive. I completely recommend it! We really enjoyed the place, the people, AND the food. Try it!“

“HUGE portions. I ordered the Lo Mien with chicken and vegetables. My wife got the beef teriyaki with vegetables. Got the Tempura vegetables super large. Big enough for 2+. “My wife and I came for the sushi and stayed for the warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. It was a quiet afternoon, and we were the only customers, so one of the chefs kept introducing us to his favorite kinds of sushi and letting us try them on the house. All the staff spoke Japanese to each other, which was super cool. I haven't studied Japanese in years, but living near Bodeli may be enough to make me want to dust off my kanji books and see if I can stammer through a conversation with them.“

They have a huge center bar and lots of Hibachi tables and seating if you are getting Sushi. PLUS a robot brought our food! Ask for Alec! He took great care of us!“

But the food tasted like out of nowhere. Personally, I think they need to add more flavor to every food like salt, sugar, garlic butter, whichever..

“Can I just say I had a completely unexpected incredible service experience here? The food was great. Had sashimi and it was all on point! Good happy hour specials that led into dinner and cocktails after. Cocktail menu is a bit sweet for my taste but approachable and with a couple of fun twists. Everything we had was solid. Good sushi. What we expected from the reviews.

What we didn’t expect was the service we received. We sat at the bar which ended up being a great decision. Abby took care of us and was absolutely a notch above. I’ve been to Michelin star restaurants and not received the care she provided. Very attentive. Had great suggestions and made the entire experience a lot of fun all the way around!! “The restaurant is located among a row of shops. We stopped by during lunch time on a Thursday and there was no wait and sat immediately. It was decorated in modern Asian style and seating was somewhat close together and brightly lit. We ordered 2 speciality sushi - ‘The green dragon roll’ and one ‘All-in Roll’ and one chicken teriyaki entree with miso soup and side salad.
The miso soup and salad was meh just standard. The chicken entree was flavorful.
All the sushi was delicious. It was made fresh at time of ordering. The service was good and overall we enjoyed our experience and would come back.“

“7pm on a Saturday night, not busy but slow service. The goyza tasted "fishy" (do they put seaweed in the goyza here? That seems strange if they do), the sushi was ok but was unevenly cut leading to some comically large bites. The ramen comes with a fried egg, which just doesn't hit as well as a marinated ramen egg and the katsu pork I'm pretty sure what just a sysco pre-breaded pork chop which wasn't especially tender or flavorful. I have had better experiences here in the past but it fell way short of the mark this time. Also they seem to have some strange obsession with putting asparagus in almost everything, so if you love asparagus this may be your jam but I don't find it works great in sushi rolls.“

“My cousin and I met here for the Art N Soul event and it was so fun! I live in Nashville and my cousin lives in Lebanon. The service, food, drinks, and atmosphere was excellent. There was live music, a live painter, and the intimate seating encourages conversation. We sat outside on the terrace which is beautiful! You're in the city and the hotel is swanky but not pretentious. I felt safe and welcome. This is a perfect place to meet up with friends or family or for a date. I would like to come here again for future events.“
