The Food: Everything comes out piping hot, completely fresh, and loaded with flavor. Their chips and salsa setting the table right off the bat are fantastic, and the menu is stacked with all the classics. From sizzling fajitas and loaded chimichangas to incredible burritos and cheese dip that the whole table will fight over.
Speed & Service: The staff here is unbelievably fast and attentive. Even when the restaurant is packed on a weekend, you're seated quickly, your drink cups never hit empty, and the food comes out of the kitchen in record time.
Great Portion Sizes: You definitely won't leave hungry! The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable for the quality, and you almost always end up taking home a box for round two later.

“Let me start by saying, we walked in within 30 minutes of this place closing 😬... on a Sunday night 7/19/26! 😬😬
We are visiting the area and time got away, and so many places were closed. With just more than 20 minutes to spare we walked in asking if it was too late, because I understand about last second walk-ins. They all had the attitude of being ready to help, friendly, and told us no problem at all and asking what they could get for us. I, in NO way, got the feeling we were ruining their end of day.
We got our food to go, and out the door we went. We get to our room, and the food was so good!
Amazing staff and absolutely great food! You guys are awesome, and saved us from eating just a snack mix for dinner!“

“4th time there had to leave a review. This place is a step above. Everything has been incredibly fresh. The asada and chorizo are top notch! The rice and beens have some actual flavor! Even the salsa taste fresh! Prices are great too! A working man can stop for lunch or dinner and not break the bank!“

“We were visiting from Knoxville, we rarely eat out as it’s overpriced for quality of food. Puerto Nuevo changed our minds. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean and the staff are dressed professionally with smiles and warmth. The salsa bar is a wonderful way to start with fresh, colorful and flavorful options. We ordered the corn ribs as that was new item we had never seen before. They were wonderful. We chose steak items and the ranchero sauce was delicious and homemade. Valerie was an amazing server and the manager gave us each a free dessert of tres leches that was wonderful way to end the meal. If we lived closer this would be our numero uno place to dine.“

“Always wonderful food. Some of THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN BRISTOL! The guy above with the 1 star sat next to our table and complained about everything. Looks like they were just wanting something free. Hope they enjoyed their Bojangles 🤣🤣“
