“I had the Quesa Birria Tacos today at the Hobson Pike location and they were the best I've eaten in and around Nashville. The consomme is gelatinous and delicious!! The tacos were filled with flavorful, tender beef slow cooked with onions, herbs and topped with cheese. The corn tortillas were fried to the perfect crispness and not greasy, which is not always the case at some restaurants. The margaritas were strong and refreshing. Service was a little slow, but I think they were just getting it right in the kitchen. Our server was very attentive.“

“Got a breakfast bacon and egg burrito, with pico, and tomatoes, and jalapeños. Was absolutely delicious, great size it was about the size of a burrito from sonic if you've ever gotten theirs but much much better. Was only $2.79, will definitely be stopping more often to get my breakfast there.“

“Super tasty bacon egg and cheese breakfast taco. It’s approx 5 inch x 1.5 inch and cost $4. One was enough for me but a dude would want 2. The drip coffee was quite respectable, not burned in the slightest and they have real cream. Didn’t need any sugar.

I’ve begrudgingly embraced being called a foodie and coffee snob so I’m always pleased to find small local places doing great food/coffee.

“Our family night out is on Sunday. We had a party of 6 Sunday, October 6th. Star Rover Sound was our destination. We had already been there twice before. On October 6th, we all absolutely loved the food and live music, featuring Chandler Flint!! It was great! Our server, Catherine, was wonderful! She was very sweet, and gave us the most excellent service of all the restaurants we have eaten!! She is so amazing! We all love Catherine!! Our food was fresh, hot, and delicious! It was a marvelous experience. We will definitely return to Star Rover Sound!!“

I read my magazine and enjoyed scrambled eggs with green and red peppers and ham, steamy corn tortillas, a big hunk of avocado, two hunks of white cheese, beans and great sauces. “As a day one Preds season ticket holder, Broadway Brewhouse has been my pregame meal spot for as long as I can remember ... decades. Very convenient and great selection of beers. However, tonight I was hit with the terrible news that the meal I order every visit, Pasta de Louisiane, has been axed from the menu. Now you've become just another bar and grill with nothing special on the menu 😞 Plastic cups, paper plates ... the Brewhouse just isn't the same. I'm sure I'll pop in periodically; but heading downtown early for my favorite meal before the Preds hit the ice is now a thing of the past. I realize that things change; but change sucks.“
