9 Best Coffee Shops in Athens

“We love this coffee shop, but recently they have changed their espresso beans and unfortunately they taste burnt with no complexity. Worse than Starbucks Burt. Wondering if there’s any chance they might go back to the old beans or offer a back up option? I understand they wanted to work with a local roaster, but perhaps they could consider the taste … 😕over local. 13-15 of our friends and family feel the same way so I don’t think it’s just me 💜“

“I love this place! I've tried the other coffee places in town, but none of them hit like this place. I always get the triple 7 to get that extra caffeine to get me through the day. Dutch bros is okay, but so far I've been more impressed with 7Brew.“

“So far I've been to 3 DutchBros locations and each visit just gets better. Best experience so far has been at the Athens location with Edgar as the most helpful worker I've met. He truly had a welcoming energy and listened to my wants in a caffienated beverage. Through my uncertainty of what I would like to try that day, he figured I would enjoy a Rebel energy drink. Boy was he right. It was so good! I work in fast food so I know its not easy always putting on such an above and beyond friendly face. I think Edgar understood that sometimes a customer's only socialization for the day can be through a drive thru and you could make or break a person's whole day with your attitude. Edgar made my day and I believe he deserves this drawn out, highly praised review because of that. Thanks again Edgar, you're awesome!“

“A small DD with a great staff. Food and drinks were prepared quickly and to the quality level I expected. The staff was friendly and quick. The establishment was clean and a table was available upon entrance. The food was hot and tasty. Definitely a good experience.“
