“First time there, did take out. Kung Pao Beef, Beef Fried Rice, Spring Rolls and Fried Biscuits (Mantow). Young fellow at desk said KPB was not too spicy, so asked for Extra Spicy and was NOT disappointed. KPB was delicious, superb level of spice, lovely thick sauce, portion size was large, very nice. We will come back!“

“Went in on the lunchbreak with the rest of the crew, cause one of em swore by the place. I get it now. Nothing but love for Mama Julie, super sweet and charismatic woman whos been running things longer than anyone on my crews been alive, at a solid 35 years. Great place, wonderful owner, and I walked out of the door with the biggest tray of fried rice I've ever ordered.

Theres also some hidden gems in the snacks and drink fridges that you'll have a hard time finding anywhere else. :)“

“Absolutely amazing seafood! We ordered a live king crab prepared in three different styles, and every dish was outstanding. The steamed crab was sweet and tender, the sweet soy sauce brought out the fresh flavor perfectly, and the crispy fried garlic chili style was incredibly addictive. They even used the crab to make a delicious seafood soup, so nothing went to waste. Fresh ingredients, excellent cooking, and great service. Highly recommend for anyone who loves king crab!“

“Meng's is a driveby and THE BEST Chinese food in the City! I drive from Cordova to Meng's. Call in your order for a quick pick up because there is always weirdos hanging outside and the area is not safe. But the staff is nice, the place is clean and the food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“Absolutely love this place. We tried it on a whim as my wife wanted a specific thick dumpling that no other place had and when we saw a photo of it on Google at china garden we gave them a shot. We now eat there multiple times a week and they always smile and yell welcome back my friend! When I come in and are extremely inviting and the food is delicious. I had the large egg drop soup and it was delicious. I also had the age tofu and they make it extra spe ial with the bonita flakes and furikake on top with a nice sauce with a little kick. I also had the cucumber salad. Nothing too special; however they julienne them instead of slicing, which i really enjoyed.
BF had the churashi special and he said it was great. He had miso soup, salad, and a generous portion of different sashimi with roe on top.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back. I highly recommend coming here.“

The pricing is very good compared to the amount of food you get. The owners are very friendly. The dining area is dated, the booth seats need replacing, and the tv has poor reception.“

However the area is not very nice unfortunately, and neither is the location. The place have tables but the restaurant was converted to delivery mostly, so there is no dining in although they still have their tables. Their menu looks smaller now than the original but they still prepare the dish if you request it. Our favorite dishes there are the broccoli and shrimp, Moo goo Gai pan, Moo Shu vegetable, vegetable lo mai and show Mai, egg Fu yong and their fry rice is fantastic!! Even in busiest days their order pick ups are no more than 20 min! The lady is very nice to us and we always customize one thing or another like extra onions in the rice, extra shrimp, more sweet and sour sauce instead of soy and duck sauce, etc“

However, you feel very welcome and everyone who comes in loves the food.
My go-to is the Young Chow fried rice and the C-Fu jalapenos wings.
The Young Chow is very fresh tasting and loaded with flavor. The wings are full of flavor as well with crunchy good skin.
The Duck soup is scrumptious.
Again, those place is pickup only, so call ahead and you will be in and out and home while it's still hot.
Didn't forget to ask for the hot chile oil.“

Their menu is extensive, and they offer a nice wine selection. We always order several of the appetizers because it’s too hard to narrow down our choices.
