“We had a delightful late dinner experience after a long day of dealing with home repairs. We were seated immediately by the friendly host and were soon asked for our order. We ordered hot tea and a selection of dim sum including a bowl of rice, vegetable spring rolls, crab rangoon, bacon-wrapped shrimp, shu mai (pork and shrimp, I’m guessing), and chicken steamed buns. Everything was enjoyable! I savored every sip of the tea which had a bit of a fruity/floral element (jasmine?). Among the dimsum selections the chicken steamed buns were particularly enjoyable to me as they are rarer to find than pork steamed buns (which were also available here) and had a great flavor. The bacon-wrapped shrimp also felt a bit decadent (and also a somewhat rarer option). After dinner we were served orange wedges that were surprisingly sweet as well as the usual fortune cookie, a nice end to the meal that we enjoyed along with the last of the tea in the relaxing, quiet atmosphere. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning!“

“We had a wonderful late dinner here. We ordered several different appetizers for the table and made a delicious meal with it. We had the chicken lettuce wrap, fried green beans, pork fried dumplings, dynamite roll, northern style ribs and egg drop soup. There was plenty of food for three of us. Matthew, our waiter was awesome and provided excellent service. We definitely will visit this location again when we’re in Memphis.“

“Went in on the lunchbreak with the rest of the crew, cause one of em swore by the place. I get it now. Nothing but love for Mama Julie, super sweet and charismatic woman whos been running things longer than anyone on my crews been alive, at a solid 35 years. Great place, wonderful owner, and I walked out of the door with the biggest tray of fried rice I've ever ordered.

Theres also some hidden gems in the snacks and drink fridges that you'll have a hard time finding anywhere else. :)“

“First time there, did take out. Kung Pao Beef, Beef Fried Rice, Spring Rolls and Fried Biscuits (Mantow). Young fellow at desk said KPB was not too spicy, so asked for Extra Spicy and was NOT disappointed. KPB was delicious, superb level of spice, lovely thick sauce, portion size was large, very nice. We will come back!“

I noticed immediately it was much better than Panda Express because there was a lot more food for about the same price and it had a much better flavor. I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant. The other restaurant is much closer but it's worth driving another 4 MI extra just to get this delicious food!“

The food is so fresh and delicious. We have tried many different restaurants in Memphis. Nam King restaurant is the best .“

The pricing is very good compared to the amount of food you get. The owners are very friendly. The dining area is dated, the booth seats need replacing, and the tv has poor reception.“

“Absolutely love this place. We tried it on a whim as my wife wanted a specific thick dumpling that no other place had and when we saw a photo of it on Google at china garden we gave them a shot. We now eat there multiple times a week and they always smile and yell welcome back my friend! When I come in and are extremely inviting and the food is delicious. I get mei fun every time and she gets sweet and sour chicken with dumplings. We live in the heart of millington but gladly pass everything else by to go to china garden. “Delicious Chinese food, great variety and above all there is more opportunity for those who are not fans of spicy food.I bought the house's special rice, happy family, fried dumplings stuffed with crab and spring roll, and they also serve you a portion of extra white rice.Recommended, the rice was delicious, the sautéed vegetables and happy family protein looked good but the flavor was weak. However, it is an excellent choice.“

“I put 5 stars for atmosphere, but really you are just picking up your food and taking it wherever you want.
However, you feel very welcome and everyone who comes in loves the food.
My go-to is the Young Chow fried rice and the C-Fu jalapenos wings.
The Young Chow is very fresh tasting and loaded with flavor. The wings are full of flavor as well with crunchy good skin.
The Duck soup is scrumptious.
Again, those place is pickup only, so call ahead and you will be in and out and home while it's still hot.
Didn't forget to ask for the hot chile oil.“

“The staff are very nice & polite and are willing to explain the specials and menu items. It was my first time visiting and I got two combos, they came with egg rolls and rice. I got orange chicken with fried rice and a chicken & broccoli with fried rice. The orange chicken was sweet, tangy and citrusy. The portions are large/good sizes and the food tastes really good as well. Would absolutely recommend :))“

“I finally found a Chinese restaurant that makes Egg Foo Yung with the tan, yellowish gravy. All of the previous restaurants I tried, had this dark, thin, almost soy sauce colored gravy. I didn't like the look or the taste of the dark gravy. I'm from northern Illinois and I had never seen dark gravy like that.
I always stop in unfamiliar Chinese restaurants to get a menu and ask some questions. I asked the person behind the counter about the color of the gravy, he said it was a light color. So I got a lunch order. The gravy was the right thickness and the right flavor, the egg foo yung patties were great, and full of shrimp. I was very satisfied and will be back.“

“By far the best Chinese food around. They concentrate more on carry out and delivery, but you can still eat inside. You will probably be the only one dinning in, and will eat with plastic forks ect, but still can't beat the food quality!“

I had the large egg drop soup and it was delicious. I also had the age tofu and they make it extra spe ial with the bonita flakes and furikake on top with a nice sauce with a little kick. I also had the cucumber salad. Nothing too special; however they julienne them instead of slicing, which i really enjoyed.
BF had the churashi special and he said it was great. He had miso soup, salad, and a generous portion of different sashimi with roe on top.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and efficient. Overall, it was a great experience and we'll definitely be back. I highly recommend coming here.“

“I dined in this place 3 times in last few months for my business trip to Memphis. I ordered mainly vegetarian dishes ( except chicken spinach one time). Based on my experience, food is relatively better than other places and cooked fresh. Staff is very polite and I was amused by the delivering robot! One advise I have is, perhaps keep the noise level down little bit. Overall, it's definitely worth your money“

“I ordered dinner to go from here the other night when I just happened to be near the area. This was hands-down the best Chinese food I’ve had in years! It was hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly!

I ordered the Chicken Lo Mein, and the Crab Rangoons. The crab rangoons were perfectly crispy, and the filling was delicious. The Chicken Lo Mein was seasoned perfectly, and the vegetables were cooked perfectly, not overly soggy.

The lady behind the counter was also very kind when I came to pick up my order. I will definitely order from here again.“
