“My goodness this was a delicious stumble upon find. My husband and I were in the area, just to explore and get away from Nashville for a bit. Every store that we went into had an employee who insisted that we eat here. We took the hint and put our name down. We only had a 15 minute wait, but they are known to have people waiting hours for a table. BUT! The food is worth it. My mama used to call this "good, simple Southern food." She wasn't wrong. The menu is large, catering to several taste buds. The staff was friendly and helpful with menu questions. They have specials here, on top of the huge menu. PLEASE try the grits cake. My word. We're thinking about driving back to get more food. ha. Parking is in front of the shop, which is free. Be sure to explore the lovely shopping while you wait.“

“Oh my goodness, their food is absolutely delicious fried catfish, burgers, and their sweets are amazing, best sweet tea around! The atmosphere is just down home with the sweetest folks ever! The server Ms. Karen is one of the best people I have ever met and always greets me with a smile. The gentleman that cooks the food is a really nice and friendly as well. Two times we had the meat and three meal and today had the Yard Bird chicken sandwich and the fried chicken salad. Both were simply delicious!
