“We visited the area for the first time since this gem opened. We had such an enjoyable experience and meal at the chef’s counter Friday night that we sat there again for Sunday brunch. We really enjoyed the staff and how committed and excited they are to put really great food out of the kitchen. We will definitely come back when we visit the area!“

“First time at Mean Jeen’s today! Oysters with the pineapple mignonette were *chefs kiss* Po’ boy was slammin. Boiled peanuts were worthy of the sketchiest gas station that has the highest yelp reviews in the state (if you don’t know, that’s the highest praise). The owner took care of me, she’s a queen. I most of all suggest the batched white tea shots. They come in cute little airplane bottles (green tea shots are also available). You won’t regret a single thing you have here, but the best part was the vibe. 12/10 stars. Do recommend.“

“Food was soooo good. We went twice on our visit to Chattanooga because it was just a block away from where we were staying. We got it once for delivery (dinner) and once for dine-in (brunch), and we were super impressed by the flavors, variety of options, and service. I absolutely loved the beef hash that they had for brunch! We also brought our 7 month old, and they were very accommodating. Def recommend!“

“First of all - love the name. This spot was fun and chill; had good seating and vibey lighting and music that’s loud enough to feel good energy, but still able to talk. Menu prices were pretty standard for chatt. It was easy to get the bartenders attention and it wasn’t too crowded.“

“This is by far the best bar I have ever been to in my life! The moment I walked in there I was treated like family. Tons of laughs and super friendly people. I believe they have the coldest beer in town also makes them go down super quick! Inside there's an awesome jukebox and then there's a beautiful porch out back where you can shoot darts. Nothing but positive vibes at this establishment and everybody comes to have fun and laugh. Betty the bartender is amazing and nurtures all her customers and always has a smile on! David the owner is cool too! He has some good stories! This is where I go to escape chaoticness in life. I highly recommend!“

“The bartender allowed us to sit 5 minutes before close (we didn’t even realize). We didn’t know what we wanted and he jumped at the opportunity to recommend drinks of his own creation. He nailed it and we walked out after an enjoyable conversation completely satisfied.“

“I planned an event for a group of young girls and every single staff member went above and beyond. The manager was incredibly patient and kind and checked on my group periodically throughout the evening to make sure we were okay.

At one point we were playing laser tag with 2 older kids, and as soon as one of the older kids said something distasteful to one of my girls one of the staff members shut it down immediately.

They really did a good job helping me plan the event and even taking care of us once we were there.“

“We went for the first time August 30, and it was amazing. They were preparing for the Annual Beard Contest. The food was awesome and delicious. The Bourbon Bacon Brussels Sprouts were amazing. All the dishes were well worth ordering. Looking forward to going again.“

“Did a tour and tasting this weekend. Our guide, Ethan was amazing, fun and informative. Not a huge bourbon fan, so I was very happy that they included their Old Fashioned with the tasting. Trinity and Caleb were helpful at the bar, answering questions and serving. Would definitely recommend this if you are visiting Chattanooga.“

“Me and my husband were hungry for a good old style New York style pizza and what we got Didn't even come close!! It was the most disgusting pizza and food we have ever had!!! The Red Marina sauce and the meatballs are so spicy they will make your eyes water and your nose run. The garlic knots were just soaking in olive oil and butter so bad I could of rung them.out like a wet dish towel. I had a GI tear a few months ago that I almost lost my life to, and this definitely triggered my stomach issue. Then on top of that Our pizza costed almost $32 dollars, they had a TEENAGER as a manager and he was trying to get us to order a salad or appetizer in place of the pizza so he didn't lose money on their lousy nasty food,rather than refund us our money back, which we weren't refunded our bill. I WILL NOT EVER COME BACK This place should have a 1 rating or out of business!!!!!!“
