The menu includes a delightful array of options, such as perfectly cooked salmon served with okra, cucumbers, and dill sauce, as well as the pan-roasted scallops accompanied by a divine brown butter jus. The Brussels sprouts and flavorful Raja appetizers have also received high praise. Guests have enjoyed meals like hash browns, biscuits, and two eggs, along with the excellent French toast. The wine and cocktail selection, featuring the impressive "The Sure Thing" cocktail, adds to the overall experience. Fried mushrooms are a starter that are not just bar style button fried mushrooms, but panko fried with amazing horseradish dip. Swordfish and mashed potatoes paired with red wine were enjoyed, as was fried chicken that tastes like a hug. Whole roasted okra fries are also available. Sidetrack's version of the "tres leches" dessert, specifically coconut tres leches, is a refreshing departure from overly sweet versions, achieving the perfect balance of sweetness. The food is consistently delicious and the menu is attractively priced with a great happy hour. Parking is plenty and bathrooms are clean. The establishment is handicap accessible and kid friendly.
