“We’ve eaten at Drakes, Chattanooga, since it’s opening and never been disappointed until today when a customer brought a dog inside to the inside “patio” seated at the table next to us. The dog was hyper and the man kept scratching it. Next a female joined him and began scratching the dog. The waiter reached down and also scratched the dog. Next time the waiter came by, the dog jumped up on her and again she scratched the dog. We asked to move inside to an empty booth. After we moved the man brought in another dog. Why were dogs allowed in the restaurant? They were NOT service dogs.“

“Yesterday my daughter and I had lunch there for the first time. We had the all you can eat sushi. We both agreed it was the best sushi we've had. It was so fresh. Can't wait to try the Latin food. We definitely will be back.“

“We love Sushi City! We have been there at least seven times (maybe more) since it opened. That is where my mother wants to go for a family dinner for her 94th birthday coming up soon. We love the food and the fact that you can order all-you-want or just from the menu. Even the non-sushi people can find a good selection for their tastes. (Our grandson is a very picky eater, and even he has found a couple dishes he likes there.)“
“Just in case anyone needs to know this restaurant is located in Whole Foods if your driver can not find this place let them know where it's at. The items you'll find on 3rd party apps may not be available in the Whole Foods location.When you search for Genji sushi on you can see on the wiki page that they distribute their product to Whole Foods Market.“

“I took my Japanese MIL here for lunch today and we were very impressed. The sashima was so freah and the fried noodles were very good, the noodles were a bit sweet, but not bad at all. Our server was Fendi and he was amazing.
Will definitely be back.“

“The tuna poke bowl was fresh and so flavorful! I loved the minimalist design of the restaurant and traditional interior. You order at the counter and can enjoy a Japanese soda while you wait. Also their chef has a great attention to detail which is evident even when serving their delicious food.“

“The best place to eat! While on the weekend they may be busy and it takes a few minutes to be seated most of the time we have no wait! The staff is so friendly. Kim is the best CHEF IN THE ENTIRE WORLD, and Miko along with Joko give the best dining service!!! The bartenders are also fantastic for those 21+! We come here multiple times a week and always will. Definitely worth the wait and the drive. From top of the line food to the bestest friends, this is best place to eat!!!!“

“This restaurant is absolutely amazing! Our service was so great and she gave us suggestions. We got the yellow curry & the pad kee mao w/ chicken. The Singha and Asahi beer was flavorful too. Everything was so so good! We will 100% be back! :)“

“This place was super accommodating with our big double stroller and 2 kids! We dined for lunch on a week day and our waiter made sure everything was just right for us. Good service goes along ways when you’re out with kids and this place was on point!“

“This place is absolutely a favorite of mine. I love love love the coconut shrimp plate, the crab ragoon is a perfect match of warm goodness inside and light golden crunchiness on the outside and then fried shrimp with the shell is absolutely the best I've ever eaten, even when peeled the shrimp keeps that mouth watering flavor! I definitely have them on my list of favorite places to eat!“

“The waitress was polite and knowledgeable, but became bogged down - and therefore slower - in the middle of our lunch. She had to be reminded about drink refills. The food was good, fresh and tasty and the degree of spiciness could be personalized, but it was unremarkable, nothing stood out as exceptional. The portions were large.“

“WOW! Amazing in all aspects! The quality and authenticity of the food is superb! Starting with the salsa... perfect heat, flavor, and consistency. Margarita flight was exquisite- definitely a must. I will be traveling back to Chattanooga to experience this place again...very soon! This is on my top three restaurants of all time.“

“Our favorite place to get sushi / hibachi! We went tonight for our daughter’s 4th birthday because she chose that for dinner! She’s calls it the “kitty cat place” because of the cat that delivers our food! They had it sing happy birthday! She got a light up crown and a treat! Thank yall so much for treating your customers like family!“

“We have eaten here for many years( actually ever since they first opened ,we have been loyal customers. Staff always nice and helpfull. Good is always good and there is a large selection on the buffet tables . I do wish they had more vegetarian foods and I wish they served coconut chicken( with more coconut sauce) and fried okra every day!“
