Volcano Crab & Bar Reviews
It is hard to find good seafood living in Chattanooga. I was glad to get some seafood that wasn’t freezer burned. My meal tasted great and my server Ashley was awesome!

Volcano Crab & Bar is a popular restaurant in Chattanooga, known for its diverse menu that includes both praised and criticized dishes. Customers have enjoyed fantastic fried oysters, delicious hush puppies, and great fries. The fried calamari, however, has been noted to be bland and overcooked. The service quality can vary; some servers provide excellent, attentive service, while others may not meet expectations. However, the bartenders are particularly skilled, offering exceptional service. Many diners have had positive experiences, noting the vibrant bar area and the welcoming atmosphere. Some customers have found the seafood to be fresh and tasty, appreciating that it isn’t freezer burned. The restaurant has received praise for the family volcano boil, with diners eager to order it again. While there have been concerns about gratuity policies, others have valued the honesty in not serving subpar oysters. Overall, Volcano Crab & Bar is a decent choice, but diners should be selective with their menu choices and be prepared for variable service quality.
