For appetizers I love the Chipotle Queso dip and smoked Salmon Dip but today I tried the Smokehouse wings. Yum! The Boneless pork chop is one of my favorite entrees. Save room for a dessert which will be big enough to share. For chocolate lovers try the Brownie and for those who prefer no chocolate I love their Banana Pudding concoction. Oh, and tell Eve I sent you.“

“Earlier this week, I got a job to photoshoot a family after their courthouse wedding on Friday. Living an hour a way, I wasn’t familiar with the vineyards but it was recommended. I called and talked to a young lady that said we were more than welcome to do the shoot there. I got there early and had a wine tasting (yummy Chardonnay and Rose’) while I waited on my clients. I had been told there were just a few family members and their children coming along with the couple. About 20 adults came and we sort of took over the place. If the staff got frustrated, I didn’t see it for one second. I know my client and his group ordered a lot of wine so I am hoping that the sales were pleasing for the owners that afternoon. They had food samples out at the tasting bar and there were a lot of things in the gift shop that look very appealing to a shopper like me. This place is a real gem hidden in the middle of an industrial area off the interstate. Their grapes were getting ready to be harvested so it looks like August is a good time to go see them at their largest size. We were told to go anywhere we wanted just don’t touch the grapes as they were getting ready to be picked! If I’m in the area again, I will definitely go back. Looks like they have music and food trucks from time to time too. May be a wonderful day trip this Fall! Go visit them now and tell them I sent you!“

“Rafael and his family are putting out some of the most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had, including in Mexico.

Although it would be nice to have a margarita, Paloma or Pacifico with my meal, the food was so exceptional, I didn’t mind.

One of the few places where the the food actually lives up to the pictures on the menu.

I love the tapas style, but also the fact that they have entrée platters and soups.

I had the pollo con salsa beef tamale, a asada burrito & beans. Straight 🔥🔥🔥Pro tip…drizzle more verde, some roja & queso on the tamale. Some of the best seasoned steak I’ve ever had in a burrito.

Do not miss the Pollo empanada. I’ve had a lot of empanadas at different places on the globe. Primarily Texas, Central America, and the Caribbean. These are hands-down, the best I’ve ever had. Yes, I mean it. Can’t wait to run through them all next time.

Bonus Mexican candy store on the way out is a brilliant idea. We will be back next month. This food is prepared with love.“

I wasn't a huge fan of the pan fried dumplings and lo mein but everything else we ordered (teriyaki chicken, crab rangoons, pork with garlic sauce, and general tso chicken) was delicious! Portions were huge and we had plenty to eat for leftovers.“

Not only are the gyros delish, but the owners remember our order each time, give great service and are always super friendly and happy to see us. This is not your typical restaurant attitude. “We just moved here from the Jackson TN area. This is the third Mexican restaurant we have been to. It is comparable to Los Portales restaurants in Jackson which was our go to Mexican restaurant. They loved Los Portales in Jackson so I know they will love this one and there’s one one on Trenton which might be closer to them.“
