Make sure to try anything with the shredded pork -- it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also had the best michelada EVER! “I’ve been going to Panda Garden since I moved to Knoxville from New York around 16 years ago. If you want authentic NY style Chinese food, you go here. This is seriously the only place in town you can get a decent egg roll. A lot of people complaining about the staff, but I’ve never had an issue, plus I normally do take out. I honestly prefer a less personal dining experience though. This is a hole in the wall Chinese takeout place, and it’s the by far the best. Not meant to be fine dining by any means. So if you’re used to eating that kind of Asian food, you’re not gonna appreciate the traditional and authentic street food taste they offer that I grew up eating. If I were famous and lived in another state, this would be my haunt back home. Favorite restaurant in Knoxville since I was 15.“
