“What can you say about McDonald's that hasn't already been said, rethought, rebranded, repeated, recalibrated and resaid. Again. You're not going to suddenly fall in love with the Big Mac (unless you've never had one, and then, unless you're 5 or new to America, I tip my hat to your ability to be unmoved by corporate messaging). The best thing about McDonalds is the food is solid, staid, and can be ordered at nearly every location in the same country as you have ever ordered it in. This is not life changing food, but life sustaining food. It's cheap, it's good, and unlike the Chicken Filet people, this food isn't served with righteous indignation, which is why I have it 4 stars instead of 3. Go when you're hungry.“
