“People are so quick to point out the negativeand rarely bring positive attention when they have experienced it. But that it what I am doing. I arrived at the Hardee's in Ducktown TN around 8:30ish. Even though closing is at 9:00, nobody ever really wants the stragglers coming in late (me included). John and David waited on me at the drive thru. They were super nice and friendly. They made sure my order was correct and that I had everything I needed. I have dealt with John several times and he has always been positive.This location used to be top notch. It was always clean and well stocked. Something happened....new owners, new manager, etc. and the place went down hill FAST. I stopped going for years for this reason. Recently, my situation required me to stop by and grab something on the way home. I waa quite skeptical at first but ended up pleasantly surprised with the service I received and the quality of the food.Kudos to whomever spearheaded these changes. “My daughter and I found Sue’s on Google. We got there when they weren’t too busy but the wait for our food was still about a half an hour. But, it was GOOD. The little welcome cards on the table with Sues history on it, is everything. Love knowing that small family owned businesses are still thriving! The food is a little pricey for a burger place(pictured -minus the cookie my daughter- got was about $35) and you will have to wait for it, BUT we think it was worth the wait. Everything is cooked with fresh ingredients when you order it. The woman behind the counter is friendly and patient. If you’re in the area and have some time, I’d recommend a burger here.“
“OMGosh!!!! What a delicious Philly Cheese Steak!!!! In addition, I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana with Spaghetti and Garlic Knots. Soooo yummy!!! It’ll be my go to place for pizza, subs, or delicious Italian when I’m not in the mood to cook, but definitely in the mood for a great meal!!!“

“I go here a lot because it's conveniently located by my work. I can definitely say their food and drinks never disappoint. I wish I had pictures, but I'm the kind of person who inhales their food. I can recommend a few things for sure: top favorite the cheeseburger wrap, then there is their breakfast bowls which are pretty hefty in serving size. I love thier coffees, they have seasonal flavors, and their lattes have a nice strong coffee taste. Some are more sweet than others always ask the cashiers they know what to recommend. They also have weekly menu items. I usually just go in because there is plenty of seating, but they also have a drive thru too! Veteran friendly!“

Breakfast favorites include biscuits, waffles, pancakes, french toast, and eggs are cooked to order in your favorite style. Lunch favorites include burgers, Philly cheese steaks, soups, and salads. Make sure to check out the daily lunch specials. They have a kids menu for the little ones.They are open Wednesday through Sunday from 8:00am until 3:45pm. Mondays and Tuesdays are closed. “We love our Dairy Queen! Ice cream always well stocked and worth waiting in the drive thru line - it gets pretty busy. Our dogs love the pup cups. The drive thru staff is the most spectacular staff members we have ever met. I highly recommend!“
“This is a must go to Tavern!! The food is fantastic and the entire staff was on point and very friendly. Super military friendly and operated by veterans. The co-owner was working and was very engaging. The place has a classic rock/metal feel, but not so much that you can't enjoy conversation. I highly recommend the Megadeth Burger and the mammoth nachos!! Sooo delicious. The Jolly Rancher cocktail tastes just like a pink starburst and watermelon!!!“
“My teen son and I stoped here after golf after a recommendation from a local citizen....we enjoyed it. Simple menu but everything cooked to order (hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, etc). A couple of the locals that were there also said they have good biscuits for breakfast.“
“Can you ever go wrong with checkers? Simple answer.... No. I have always had great food and great service at this checkers. There was even a time where the man running the window noticed my husband had a USAA card and asked if he was a veteran and thanked him and our family for their service. Noticing details like that is so above and beyond your average customer service. The food is always hot. The fries are always seasoned to perfection. The burgers are always juicy. I will continue to come to this checkers whenever I'm in town.“
“We were taken back into the lounge since my group was all over 21. It was quieter there and lighting was low. Wait times for putting in our order and getting the bills and paying the bills were a little lengthy, but it was a busy dinner time as well. Our server was very nice and accommodating. We all enjoyed our food. I’ve added pics of what I tried. The baked ziti came with 2 garlic rolls. Nice serving amount for the money and tasted delicious! The pasta sauce is quite sweet which I liked, but I know not everyone does. The Veggie Pesto Flatbread pizza was delicious! One of my friends split it with me. The sweet tea was perfect! I wish they served their drinks in taller glasses so we wouldn’t have needed to refill them so often. I took citrus chipotle wings and garlic parm wings with Buffalo sauce added in, home to my bf.
