This store is very unprofessional. The employees have their family and friends hanging out and are so loud and vulgar. Absolutely unprofessional conduct. Would not want a child in the lobby with the conduct the employees have. I love the food but I will not spend my money on such a poorly run restaurant

Based on customer reviews, Jack's Family Restaurant has changed since opening. The service time was never great, but the food quality was excellent. Now, the food quality is very poor, with potatoes horrible and gravy consistency of pudding. One customer waited 27 minutes for an order and had to ask how much longer. However, Jacks in Covington is factually home of the lords chicken, with an awesome, friendly, and helpful staff. Another customer ordered the 3 piece tender meal, with potatoes and slaw, and found it really good with a home cooked flavor and feel, and would definitely come back. A different experience involved a breakfast biscuit that was cold with unmelted cheese and no fresh biscuit.
