They were both great sandwiches and more than Ian and I could eat. The staff was friendly and service was quick.
In my travels I stop at McAlister‘s fairly often. I will say this one in Dickson is is even better than average.

McAlister's Deli offers a variety of delicious sandwiches and sides. Customers praise the grilled Chicken Sandwich on Wheat, the Jalapeño Turkey Crunch with avocado, and the Club sandwich, which are described as fresh, flavorful, and with great texture. The Turkey Pepper Jack sandwich is also recommended, especially for those with gluten allergies who can ask for gluten-free bread. The French Dip sandwich is a favorite for some customers, who go out of their way to enjoy it. The Steamed Broccoli is noted as tender and well-seasoned.
While some customers report occasional issues with food portions being inconsistent and order accuracy, the overall dining experience is positive. The food is always made fresh, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant is usually quiet in the evenings, making it a nice place to take a break and enjoy fresh food. There are also a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options available.
