“One of our favorite breweries! 🍻 Such a cool location being right on the Tennessee / Georgia line, in a neat old building right along the Ocoee / Toccoa River. And now they have Ocoee River Distilling so you can try a bunch of amazing liquors and cocktails (Julie made me an old-fashioned today 😋). And Desiree served us a delicious Penitentiary Porter mixed with their Gingerbread Porter for an awesome twist. They have sodas and snacks for the kids (and are dog friendly too!); we played darts for a couple hours. Whenever we're in north Georgia, we make it a point to come here. Wish we lived closer! “Make sure you visit this GREAT coffee shop! I will go out of my way to stop by here for one of their iced vanilla lattes- they make the best ever. 😍 Also love their logo- just bought one of their shirts and actually wearing it right now. 😂 Anyway, highly recommend this sweet little coffee shop. The staff is wonderful too! I looove sampling local coffee shops anywhere I go and Yellow Bird is definitely my favorite this side of the Mississippi! (Quite literally. ❤️)”

“My wife and I were in Blue Ridge for a weekend trip and decided to try this restaurant for lunch. SO glad we did! I got a Cuban sandwich and my wife had the steak sandwich. Both were amazing! We came back later in the day and picked a rum cake and a piece of tres leches cake to take back to our cabin. Both were incredible! This was our favorite restaurant on our trip and we will definitely be back!”

“The Thirsty Turtle Beer Garden on the TN line at 294/123 is phenomenal. Tuesday nights are tacos, our selections were pulled chicken tinga or carnitas pork, freshly made on flour tortillas with chips and house made Pico de Gallo. They have a small selection of great sandwiches all served with house made potato salad or chips from Wed - Sat. Captain beef heart is delicious. Sunday is pizza…in a brick oven and makes fresh pies on house-made dough. All this at a roadside beer bar with pool tables and dart boards, a nice pavilion on the creek, Cornhole on the deck and [toy] turtle races in the creek on Fridays. Make it a point to go out of your way to pay it a visit.””

“We ordered take out for our first visit this evening. Husband ordered the Habanero Combo Special, while I had the Beef Chimichanga Dinner. Everything was FANTASTIC. Ready on time, priced right, quality and quantity over the top. Since we're new to the area, we'll now be regular customers. We have enough leftovers for a quasi Huevos Rancheros for Breakfast. “We stopped into this Subway while on a 2 hour layover while between trips from and back to Blue Ridge GA on the Blue Riudge Scenic Railroad. Our prime reason my wife and I chose Subway instead of the many more interesting places to eat was the ease of getting in and out quickly so when could see more stuff in this touristy town.

I had the Honey Mustard barbecue Sandwich and my wife had the Titan Turkey Sandwich and both had a bag of chips with our meal. My wife had a bottle of water with her meal because she couldn’t order a Diet Coke. I also had water because, even though they had Pepsi products, they didn’t have Diet Mountain Dew. The sandwiches were pretty good and the best thing was that we wee served immediately after walking into the store.”

“Couldn’t help but smell the delicious food this place was cooking up so decided to stop by for a nice dinner after a long day. Was warmly greeted by friendly staff. The manager Mandy was very nice on asking how I was and what her favorite foods were but it was my server Alicia that stole the show!!! She was fast, sweet, very knowledgeable and absolutely hilarious!!! THEEE most pleasant and wonderful dining experience I’ve had in a very very long time. Finally found my new favorite special restaurant to come to. Will be back with my friends and family, thank you so much for such terrific night and awesome hospitality!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“I really like the tacos and beer! The food is great and reminds me of southern Mexico and Guatemala. I often eat here in the evening after a long day on the river working. Also a great place for some beers, company, and Spanish practice Friday evenings. I almost forgot to mention they have the only handmade corn tortillas in town as well as the best homemade salsas.”
