“Excellent experience and even better food. Walked in on a whim and was greeted by the owner. He and his staff took great care of me and my friend. Had the short rib and ordered the brussel sprouts…both were exceptional. Short rib was tender, flavor was balanced and plentiful, and the sides paired well with it. The bacon on the brussel sprouts was wonderful. Great experience and will definitely go back!Parking: Parking is located in the rear. Easy to miss the alley way to access it. Small lot but can get several cars in there.“
“Great food + wonderful service!Must try baked goods! All breads made fresh & gluten free options availableVegetarian options: Tofu available as substitute - just ask & customize your orderParking: Paid parking available across the street“
“We are from out of town and wanted to try a good but non expensive bbq place for it being our first time in town. This place is amazing! For 5 people cost us $55! Servers are really nice and has play houses for little kids! 10/10 recommend!Kid-friendliness: It has some play houses for the kids to play on while getting food!“
“Our server was upbeat and informed us of all the food and srink specials which I appreciate- During our meal he filled up my sweet almost constantly !!! Food was great I'd recommend the pulled pork and Cobb salad and sweet tea thanks Wyatt ?Parking: Parking is directly next to restaurant 10$ roughly till 3 am and ate around 5 pm so plenty of time“
“What a great gem in Chattanooga! Service & atmosphere was a delight as we sat outside on heated patio.Shrimp& grits were delish & loved the detail of deviled egg on Cobb salad. Great selection of scotch & bourbon. The barkeep old fashion is a must!“
“Chic and delicious spot in downtown Chattanooga! We came here to celebrate my sister’s birthday and had a blast. Oysters, champagne, caviar, bolognese, and more! I highly recommend checking this place out. Plus, the location is great if you want to bop around before of afterward.“
“Well, my first time here as well as in Chattanooga, TN. Hubby had heard of the spot from friends a year ago. If you a scaredy-cat tourist, the place will look sketchy as heck. I'm from NY and living in GA for over 8 years I learned about the best establishments, be them hole in the wall places! Anyway, you pull up and chef outside on the grill, smoking it up! When you get to the door it reminds me of one of those old liquor stores you ain't got no business being in as a kid. Push in the door and that BBQ small hits your belly hard. It's a small spot they got about 4 tables inside but it's cozy. Menu looks legit. Our family 3 had a variety of selections hot dog and mac n cheese for the kid, I had the wings, green beans and slaw and hubby had a pork sandwich baked beans and potatoes salad!. I was able to get the green beans because they use turkey. I was salivating but disappointed. They were peppery and bland, but baby my slaw and wings were finger licking the whole time good. The wings were a little tiny but VERY tasteful. The kid ate all of his food and he a picky eater, plus he don't eat everyone's mac n cheese. Let's just say no morsel was left behind. My hubby said everything was good he meant to get me the potato salad and him the coleslaw his error my pleasure. He don't eat potato salad but decided to try it, why he couldn't stop eating it! Then, he had the nerve to ask these people, " who made the potato salad?" Glad we sat and stayed and enjoyed it all, they seem to be a family business giving the business with this BBQ. The bonus was customer service was all that and then some!“
“Delicious BBQ. Tender, juicy, just the right amount of smoky flavor. Wish we lived in town because we'd be back often! Chef Q mentioned he has some additional sauces (?blackberry and a honey peach) that sounded amazing. No indoor seating, but it was a gorgeous night to eat on the covered deck. Recommend coming early as the seem to sell out of some of the sides.“
“This is one of the view greatest, neatest, locally owned places in downtown Chattanooga that's a must to visit. If you're looking for a unique, quaint locally owned place with an awesome atmosphere, cool decor, great service and the best food ever - you MUST visit here. All the food is fantastic but I'd recommend the King Baked Chicken! It's not served all the time, but when it's on the menu it's a MUST also.Wheelchair accessibility: There's no steps so entry is no problem. And the tables and chairs can be moved out of the way easily to pull up to the table.“
“This restaurant is a must try!!! The food is incredible and Anya our waitress went out of her way to make us feel welcome!! I wish I could add another star for being dog friendly!!! They brought out dog water and dog biscuits for our dog and made us feel comfortable having him on the patio!! Can’t say enough good things!!! We will definitely be back!!!! Thanks again for a great lunch and including our Doberman Zeus!!!!“
“Love going here and eating family style without hours of cooking myself. Since the COVID out break you just sit with the party you come with but the food is still better than anything around, the service is still the absolute best. Go on down and check them out. Still locally owned and operated.“
“They clearly have a Michelin Star Chef hiding in that little log cabin. The food is Heavenly! We genuinely get excited to order. They don’t keep what you might call traditional hours for restaurants, so we think about the many times when they are closed and get bumbed that we missed our timing. We can’t say enough good things about the food here. You’ll love it. Enough reading, just call them already…money back guarantee from me ?.“
“This restaurant is the definition of SOUL. All of the food is scratch made goodness, and cooked fresh daily. Everything was delicious, all of the sides, all of the proteins, the breads. If you're a fan of down home southern goodness then do yourself a favor and check this.“
“This was our first time eating here and the food was amazing! Everything is fresh and homemade. The selection and prices are good for the type of food you get and they have sooo many choices. We tried the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, squash casserole, broccoli casserole, cucumber salad, pecan rice pilaf, brunswick stew and southwest corn chowder. The $5 portions of the sides will feed a family of three adults or 2 adults and 2 children. The full size meatloaf was enough for two days for the same amount of people with a little left over for a sandwich. This is a great option for working parents and couples of all ages. You can mix and match and cut down your time in the kitchen without sacrificing quality home cooked meals. Just decide what you can cook and supplement the rest. My first meal that I mixed with some home cooked food sides and their meatloaf and potatoes came out to $5-$7 per person based on family of 3-4. That’s better than almost any takeout and it’s all homemade quality. After speaking with the staff, many items will hold in the fridge for several days from when they are made and you can freeze other with ease. This is a great little find and I will definitely be back! Thank you for an exceptional experience!!!“
“Stopped in to get some lunch with my family while on vacationCool little spot within walking distance of the Park.Food was great, their bbq tasted amazing I had a big potato stuffed with it.Quaint little spot inside and seating outside.Would definitely eat here again.Parking: BIG parking lot behind at the park. Pay to Park, Get the ParkMobile app.“
“Let's just say everything was amazing!!! From the time I enter the establishment until I left,,,, the food was delicious and the drinks ? wow,and the ? can't wait to come back again!!!! Excellent service,, come see for yourself, you won't regret it“
“Our waiter Ryan was personable and always there when we needed him without being too present. We requested a seat away from the loud music, but it was a chilly night. We were seated outside and told we could move our table as close to fire as we wanted, which we did, making for a very pleasant spring supper. The po’ boy was what you expect one to be, the skirt steak chimi was outstanding. The roasted veggies and garlic top notch. All in all a lovely experience. Be prepared, however, for music that is way too loud inside. If you don’t want the noise, bring a sweater or wait til summer for outside seating.“
“Best fried chicken you can get anywhere! Don’t even get me started on the fried pickles though! Do yourself a favor to save some time and just order to orders right away and watch them disappear. Grab a 40oz and a coozie to go with it all! Don’t forget your sides!“
“Super buttery southern cooking. It's fine but a little expensive, honestly. Some places blare the country music a little too loud, but the food is mostly consistent. Country kitsch decor and old times candy is available in the waiting area, if you're in to that kind of thing.“
