The Shallowford rd location we ate at yesterday was the worst meal we’ve ever had at a Cracker Barrel Restaurant! My mashed potatoes were cold and was a very small portion. Everything else we ordered as sides were only slightly warm. We asked corn bread and they brought biscuits. The slaw I ordered came 3/4s way through meal. I have never had a bad meal at CB until yesterday.
I know it was a busy day but we had 4 people in our group and saw 3 couples get sat, order and get their food in the time it took our cold food to get delivered. The couples even ordered more complex meals such as strawberry French toast sweets while we all ordered basic eggs, bacon and pancakes.

I don't understand how a restaurant is happy with 35+ minute ticket times, but this Cracker Barrel is reliably soooo slow. We keep coming here because of the food, but may have to figure something else out if we value our time at all. Today was about 40 minutes for two breakfast meals, one of which was a sandwich!
