“Hands down the best place to get bibimbap in Knox! Food and menu is 10/10. The service is friendly and personal, the owners are delightful, and the food is consistently top notch. Service is quick, the menu is well curated and clear, and there is something for every taste and mood. The matcha is amazing too! I plan to become a regular, and am excited to see this place grow.Update: I recently also had the joy of celebrating my birthday with Kokos! The staff were so warm and friendly and helped coordinate with my partner and friends to surprise me! The staff were also so sweet and gave me some of their incredible sesame cheesecake with ube ice cream and it was incredible! One of the best desserts I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend celebrating moments at this restaurant. We will be back!“
“This is hands down the greatest place to get poke. The service is always fantastic and the quality of the fish is outstanding. My husband and I lived in Hawaii for 3 years and this is the most authentic place around by a long shot. Don't bother going anywhere besides here it is truly the best!!!!“
“The lunch hibachi portions were a good size for the price and the sushi was great on the other hand the fried rice is kind of tasteless and the came with no sauces and when asked for teriyaki sauce was given a sweet hennessy sauce instead but over all the food was okay the atmosphere was better!“
“Definitely a great place to eat!. Came here for work lunch and had the salmon dish. By far the best salmon dish I've ever had! The salmon was perfectly cooked and flaky with a delicately crispy exterior. Which has been a first for me to say! Absolutely delicious! The fried rice was plenty and seasoned well. The sweet cooked carrots and the slightly charred, soy sauce cooked broccoli add an incredibly delightful contrast to the dish! Not just in flavor, but in texture too. And the addition of the lemon wedge adds a wonderful brightness to all the flavors. The staff were also fast and friendly. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back again.“
“Maybe they are overworked/understaffed, but the staff just take their time coming around sometimes. Improvement can definitely be made, but not a reason to avoid. The food is amazing though. Their teriyaki hibachi is delicious and flavorful. The sushi is fresh and tasty. Even the wasabi is fresher than most sushi places around.“
“Finally made it out to Anaba & was glad we did!The chasu ramen was amazing. The broth was super flavorful without resorting to being overly salty. I was initially put off by the upcharge to get chasu in the Tonkotsu ramen base, because I'm used to places skimping on the meat. But there was an entire pile of chasu slices in my bowl, so it was well worth it.The rest of our food (edamame & a few sushi rolls) was great too, as well as the service. We'll definitely be back!“
“My boyfriend and I eat hibachi all the time and was in the area so we decided to try and soooo glad we did!!The crab Rangoon was the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot.One lady was serving, bussing and taking care of everyone she was so sweet and attentive. The food was delicious, the review that said the sweet carrots were best in town was not wrong! They melt in your mouth ?“
“Favorite place. 15 for lunch, 21 for dinner. Plain and simple don't debate, only made fresh unlimited buffet. I mean literally, order you're rolls sashimi, etc. Then your entree's. Eat what you order and you're good. Friendly owners and staff.Order to go, 4-8$ rolls, 7-12$ BIG entrees with rice. Never had one thing missing on an order either. Seriously I do not know why they aren't busier.“
“Mikata is wonderful! Definitely some of the best sushi I've ever had. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I had raw salmon in both a sushi roll and Nigiri, it was perfect. You can tell they use good fish. This was my first time trying Takoyaki, so I don't have anything to compare it to but, it was amazing. ?“
“I drive past at least half a dozen other places just to come here, twenty minutes each way. They're so incredibly generous with the portion sizes, everything comes out hot and flavorful. I've never had anything less than a perfect meal and the family running the restaurant are friendly as well. You seriously need to try this place if you haven't, drive out of the way if you need to. You won't regret it!“
“Love love Fuji's!! Great food affordability priced amazing service best hibachi in town! I happily waited in line because they reopened after renovations I would've been devastated if they had closed forever please support Fuji's!Vegetarian options: Best sweet carrots ever!!“
“This is a great cheap alternative to Wasabi or Asia Cafe. You get a good amount of food for a fraction of the cost. Another plus is that its made to order, so it always fresh and hot. The wait isn’t long at all neither only 10-15 minutes. For the yum yum sauce lovers, they give you a medium size container instead of one of the small ones.“
“Always great food, great variety. This time they had Cajun crab boil with crayfish, potatoes, and corn. Wow! Great hibachi & sushi too!Parking: Large lot right off of Kingston Pike. Plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: They have all kinds of goodies for the kids. Pizza, chicken nuggets, french fries, jello, fruit, cheese sticks, etc.Wheelchair accessibility: Ample handicapped parking with a ramp near the front door.“
“Essence was awesome! GREAT SERVICE! We never went without a drink half full and she was sooo sweet! Even got us extra boxes and Togo drinks! Max was also wonderful! We will def be back with the family just for these two! Service was phenomenal!! Thank you!“
“First time trying Kabuki and we will be back! The best sashimi we have had so far here in Knoxville and we've been everywhere! Everything from the saki to the donuts were amazing! Highly suggest the shrimp tempura, the filet hibachi, the sashimi plate, and the donuts.“
“It was an amazing experience from taking off our shoes and sitting at the table, to having unagi and most of all a lot of real Japanese food options. This place is definitely a hidden gem. BTW! The curry was really good! My husband and I shared it and man, I wanted to order another plate. Having lived in the west coast my whole life where there’s so many Japanese restaurants and people of decent, this one hits the spot. I’ve been having a hard time finding a place that isn’t sushi and Thai, which are completely opposite ends of Asia where the food is not even similar. Thank you for the experience and food!“
