While in Nashville, we drove just a bit to visit Puckett's in Franklin. Well worth the pretty drive! The town is beautiful and the people are friendly. Our server, Nicole, was awesome. She had a huge party in addition to us. We did not feel neglected at all! The food was delicious and the atmosphere is charming. Do not skip dessert! The Banana Pudding and Cobbler are amazing.

The food wasn't as good as the first time I went there, and the burger seemed a bit skimpy on toppings. I got the one with the pork, Cole slaw, and beans on it. It was hard to tell there was any of any of them on it. I still like the place though and will be back.

Overall, we had a great meal at Puckett’s and would definitely come back.
The brisket was an easy 10/10—absolutely order it. It was tender, flavorful, and the highlight of the meal.
For our starter, we had the Southern pimento cheese balls with sweet and spicy pepper jelly, and they were a 9/10. Great flavor and a perfect way to start the meal.
The drinks were the biggest disappointment. The regular sweet tea wasn’t Southern sweet at all—it tasted like the sugar was forgotten. We also ordered their special fruit tea, only to find out after ordering that they were out. Overall, I’d give the beverages a 3/10.
Service was 6/10. It was a busy time, so we understand things happen, but we did have to remind our waitress a few times about items we had requested.
One small suggestion: they were out of kids’ menus, so we ended up having to look one up online ourselves.
Despite a few hiccups, the food more than made up for it. If you’re visiting, the brisket is a must-order. We’d happily return.

Nicole made another visit to Puckett's in Franklin feel like coming home. She was so warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, just like everyone here. The Southern hospitality is the real deal! The fried chicken was absolutely incredible: crispy, clean, fresh breading with juicy chicken that arrived piping hot. Every bite was comfort food at its finest. It's easy to see why Puckett's is a favorite. Great food, even better people, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps us coming back. Thank you, Nicole, for making another meal so memorable! 🍗
