I'm from the Gulf Coast. I'm fussy about my seafood. The Boilery has fresh seafood prepared well. I haven't tried a lot because I keep coming back to my favorites but everything I've had had been great. Also The Boilery has a great space for a large group. I head up the Sassy Single Seniors 59+ group and it was one of our top 3 places from last year. Headed there again next month. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!
The narrative: I wasn't really impressed. In this environment of short staff and limited supply I really try to give extra considerations. The service was good; the atmosphere just felt all wrong and the quality of the food was not that good. I went during a time when other restaurants were busy, and this place was not. The staff seated me promptly but you could tell they wanted you be someplace else (or at least that this wasn't what they were really focused on). No ambience...read full review

We went to try it this evening and found a note on the door saying they have closed permanently. The note is also posted on their Facebook page. I guess we just missed it. Sorry we didn't get to try it.
