“Food was not authentic, but not horrible…was not great either (overly salty). Staff was friendly, but extremely slow even though they weren’t very busy. Great atmosphere. Probably won’t go back again, but won’t tell others not to try it. Maybe you’ll like it more than me.“
“Just had lunch with friends at the Asian Eatery. It was absolutely delicious!! The food was fresh and excellent quality, portions were generous, service was prompt and friendly, and prices were very reasonable! They have lunch specials even! Can't recommend this enough! I'll definitely be back!“
“Dropped by here the other day to grab lunch with my daughter who was home from college on spring and it was SOLID.We started with an egg roll which was really good and then I had the chicken lo mein for my meal. It was hot with lots of chicken and a great Asian flavor.I look forward to going back!“
“Sekisui Pacific Rim is an east Memphis sushi scene, from the food to the ambiance to the service!FOODI can't help but rave about their Redbirds Roll - it's my absolute favorite for 18 years now. It's a meal all in itself. Imagine a California roll with crispy crab inside and cooked shrimp on the top. I also like that is pays homage to our baseball team, the Memphis Redbirds. And the Cucumber Rolls? The freshness and flavor burst in your mouth, truly a refreshing treat, and you feel very light after eating it. Oh, and don't forget have some green tea; it's the ideal way to round off a fantastic dining experience and help you digest the meal. It's not just the food that makes this place special; Sekisui Pacific Rim goes the extra mile by using eco-friendly paper straws, demonstrating their commitment to the environment and, of course, saving those adorable turtles.AMBIANCEThe ambiance at Sekisui Pacific Rim is hip and chic. In the back of the restaurant, they have an aquarium that serves as mood lighting along with a massive art centerpiece that adds to the overall charm. The art features throughout the restaurant really set the mood for a unique dining experience. When it comes to the seating arrangement, their artsy tables and layout also contribute to the cool and contemporary atmosphere. And if you're looking for a more intimate experience, I highly recommend the cozy sushi bar off to the side - it's the perfect spot to watch the talented chefs work their magic.SERVICEThe staff makes everyone feel like they're at home. I love them and they love people and understand true customer service! If you like sushi, it's a great date place, a place for a small friend group or even a work meeting.“
“We went for the dinner and it was late in night, almost close to their closing time. The place was not much packed obviously. The server was sweet. He hurried up as the kitchen was closing but never rushed us. We started with some pan fried dumplings. They were hot, steamy, and good. My husband got some tofu with veggies and I got myself kung pao chicken. Both the dishes were served with steamed rice. The portion size was decent for a single person and the food was hot and fresh. I would return surely.“
“For the hungry and want it fast crowd this place will do the job. Mostly Chinese dishes with some American thrown in. Most of their business is take out but they have seating for 32. We showed up about 1 ish and we were the only ones eating in but saw a steady stream of phone in orders being picked up. My partner got the chicken fried rice and I agreed with her it should have had more chicken in it. I selected the steak and shrimp sub and the meat was ground up, not hamburger but certainly not sirloin. Few shrimp in it. On the edge of Tiger Town for what it is, it’s not bad.Parking: Lots of roomWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room in the dining area. Restrooms are ADA compliant“
“I went to Urban Japanese Fusion Cuisine with a coworker after work, and had a good experience. We were seated quickly, and our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the various sushi rolls. We got edamame as an appetizer, and I ordered a caterpillar roll with an order of tamago nigiri. All of the food was delicious, and definitely satisfied our sushi craving. The restaurant had modern Asian-inspired decor, and was overall a great atmosphere. I'd definitely return.“
“I know this resturant used to be Chang's Bubble Tea, and a lot has changed since then, but it still has the same spirit. There's bubble tea, milk tea, fruit smoothies, etc. They have the usual lo mein, ramen, and fried rice varieties. To order, you have lots of options. You can order take out through their app, website, or phone. To dine in, you can order through a QR code at your table, the kiosk by the register, or at the register if you have cash.“
“We ate here on March 8, 2024. Our teriyaki tofu was delicious! It came to us hot and just as ordered. We also added spring rolls which were scrumptious. This restaurant never disappoints us. We return often and it’s always clean snd the service is never slow.Vegetarian options: Tofu is an option“
“Nice place, good and prompt service, great selection of Sushi and they have Thai food too. The Sushi was OK, and the Thai was OK too, but plenty! It was a business dinner and they took very good care of us.Vegetarian options: They have a few vegetarian and vegan options, but it is not their focus.“
