We loved it. Restaurants often use the word “fusion” loosely, but at Osaka, it truly applies. The menu delivers Peruvian and Japanese fusion at its best: a thoughtful blend of South American and Japanese flavors, with each bite offering a beautifully engineered explosion of taste. Food The food is creative, beautifully presented, and genuinely unique—but Osaka offers much more than great dishes. “The food was good, very typical of a sushi restaurant, nothing to put it over the top though. The service was really good and she communicated very well through the debacle that happened. The kitchen lost my ticket, so people coming in after me were getting their food before I was, she realized what had happened and got it corrected, so my time in the restaurant was about 2 times what it would normally have been, but the food was good. I do wish that they offered a little something extra for the extended time, but I'm not mad that they didn't. I'll be back in the future, just not running to get here again.“

“I had a great experience at Tokyo Grill! I ordered the Hibachi Shrimp combo meal, and it did not disappoint. The shrimp was cooked perfectly—tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The portion size was generous, and everything was fresh and hot.

The rice and vegetables paired really well with the shrimp, and the overall meal was filling without feeling too heavy. The service was quick, and the staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

“At first, I avoided this restaurant like the plague when I had first ordered a while ago they had my raw sushi sitting out a room temperature and by the time I got there, which I say about 10 minutes away the sushi had turned brown, and I only did it turn brown. It was sitting under a leak in the restaurant. BUT now , I’m under the impression of a new owner and their food quality has doubled ! The sushi no longer tastes like chemicals , the food is fresher and the flavor profile has improved too. I ordered my favorite 3 combo sushi as a last resort because my other place closed earlier but boy was I blown away by the upgrade! The service does need to be a little bit better, the ladies at the desk are a bit snappy but the food is delicious. I am an uncover food reviewer for the Memphis area and my new score on this restaurant is 8/10! ( old score was 2/10)“

“The food is great every time I've gone. The portion sizes are large, I always leave filling full. The service is a bit off...they often have trouble refilling drinks. You also have to wait to get a table if you have a small party, as they want to fill up the table. Whenever I've gone, the place is dead empty. This could be due to the fact that their website is not listed correctly or the location [hard to get into] and maybe the interior. The interior is very lacking, don't go for the ambience. I go for the food and the price of the meal. It's good food for a good price, cheaper than Red Koi down the street: $7 chicken hibachi with miso soup, salad, veggies and fried rice - compared to Red Koi which is $13 hibachi chicken, salad, veggies, fried rice. and compared Redfish Asian Bistro down the street - Their hibachi chicken is $19. So overall, this place has best prices and portion sizes.“
