I like the sushi, but I was honestly disappointed that I was charged $2 extra for something I had gotten earlier this month at a different price. Then I was also charged for the sauce. I’m definitely going to take a break from ordering here because this was really disappointing.
Short wait time, good food
I love this place. This particular location on Kirby parkway has the best tasting food ( I’ve ate at all the other ones in Memphis even in Desoto county ) this location is still the best tasting. Also I’ve never had bad customer service from here and my food is always amazing. I probably eat her 5 times a month lol. My fave go to meal for sure ❤️

Tokyo Grill is a restaurant known for its awesome food, but it has some areas for improvement. The dining area has been closed due to Covid and remains shut. Orders can still be placed, but the staff may have some limitations, such as not having containers for extra eggs. Additionally, the restaurant may not be accommodating for dietary restrictions, charging extra for items that normally come with meals. Recent reviews mention that while many customers enjoy dishes like shrimp hibachi and salmon hibachi, there have been complaints about the quality of rice, with some stating it was burnt and had a bad smell. The California Roll Rice has also faced criticism for the substitution of cucumber with squash, affecting the overall freshness of the dish. However, many regular customers still appreciate items like Katsu Don, steak or chicken hibachi, and the dynamite roll, along with the great appetizers available.
