“Food here is always amazing. Owners and staff are also always amazing. I’ve often seen the owners at the counter taking orders and running food! The seasoning on most of the menu is called “Piri piri” seasoning. Which is Swahili for “pepper pepper” so its obviously slightly spicy. I saw a less than good review from a person saying they were upset the food was a little spicy. So if it says “piri piri” just know that there will be some kick. Give it a google guys. If you don’t want it just let them know! They can withhold the seasoning! Don’t leave bad reviews on good food because you didn’t research. it’s meant to be similar to other South African cuisine in the Memphis area (in my opinion) if you’ve been to bonefish or similar. But very healthy! Grilled fish, grilled chicken, and grilled veggies are the majority of the menu. I’ve seen lots of business lunches and body builders when I’ve been there for lunch or dinner. The appetizer called “humdinger shrimp” is to die for. It’s fried shrimp tossed in a spicy aoili served over (what I think) is an aisan slaw. It’s my favorite. If you’re not interested in any of that then I would suggest asking for maybe a blackened salmon or tilapia over a Caesar salad or even a blackened salmon or tilapia in a Caesar wrap. The vibe inside the restaurant is similar to an upscale Mcalisters. You order at the counter and you can watch the staff cook your food through the glass windows. You get a number for your table and when your food is ready they bring it out. There is a self service drink counter also and several dessert options. I recommend the strawberry cake ❤️“

“My 2.5 year old and I went into this location today after an appointment she had at a local hospital. We live over an hour away and I haven’t had Gus’s in over 2 years. I was so excited to come. The service is very friendly. The food of course is excellent and super fresh! It was raining before we left so I went into the restroom to get my daughter ready to leave. She made the comment that the “toilet was really nice.” which I chuckled so told the staff about it as we were heading out. One of the employees, Lucas, let my daughter hug him at her own will unpromted and gave her a small bear he had attached to his phone. It made her day! If you’re deciding where you want to get some Cajun chicken, please go see them. The chicken is the best and the staff is very kind!“

“Drive thru, so uncertain about atmosphere(?), lady at the window very personable. Every order is made to order. So it might take a few mins.
Breading light/ not too heavy, unique to their own. Not like every other chicken tender. Enjoy.

“I ordered two bowls of the chicken noodle soup which is always delicious and filling with plenty of meat, noodles and carrots and celery that brings together a wonderful savory flavor that will satisfy anybody's appetite. Great job everytime that I visit the Chick-fil-A at Getwell and Goodman road area of Southaven, MS.

We walked in told taylor what was going on and she replaced the ordered in store , and we were still able to leave with our original order with addition to us adding some grapes that looked too good to pass up ! “I went to Chick-fil-A at South Germantown Rd. Since the moment I crossed that door I felt welcomed. There is a difference in being served and being served with a smile, it opens a new world of comfort and happiness. The treatment was excellent. The food it's good, much better than many other places. Even the drinks were good. They carry it for you to your table. The atmosphere was really nice. I will for sure go back.“

“Please train your order takers the difference between the veggie wrap and the other wraps every time I specifically order the southwest veggie wrap I still get one of the other 2 wraps with chicken on it. The price difference isn't that big but it does get frustrating having to check then wait while they fix it every single time. I get charged the higher price too for the chicken wraps according to the receipt so it's not the kitchen they're just filling the order they got it's always whoever I order with. At this point I'm thinking they have no idea there's a veggie wrap on the menu“
