“During our stay in Nashville we wanted a good place to eat that was not part of Broadway. Our condo was in East Nashville and we thought we would try something local to that area...and boy are we glad we did!!! This is cute little gem and everything was excellent, food, service, parking and hospitality. If I lived in the area it would be place that I would frequent often!!!

“We really loved Southern Grist when we first found it. Great craft beers and a great food menu, but as of late, the food menu disappoints. Anyone can do burgers and beers. Bring back the chicken sandwich, bao buns and vinegar potatoes. Your menu made you unique now you’re just like everyone else.“

The shop is stocked with thousands of t shirts, various vintage pieces, vinyl records, memorabilia from decades past. Also has a full bar so you can sip on drink as you peruse the dozens of racks.“

“Good music, good food, good vibes. I came on a Thursday and every staff member I interacted with was lovely! The blonde server walking around was incredibly helpful, I should have grabbed her name!! the burger was pretty fire, and the drinks were good and cheap!

(I would avoid the TabX app they've partnered with though. It clearly has a few bugs they still need to iron out. My tab was left open and my card is just floating on the platform in the aether unable to be removed. This is NOT Cherries fault just TabX.)“

“We were visiting from out of state and decided to try a smaller spot instead of Bourbon st. Our first choice of a piano bar looked a little sketch so we found Wilburn. We walked past a group chillin' on the outdoor patio and entered the cool brick and Christmas tinsel. The seating includes old diner looking benches and round tabletops and some tables decked in red and white checked tablecloths. There is another setting area through a door in the back that is like a tiny ally where some friendy people greeted me. Close to 10 the band showed up and set up an organ. It felt like Cheers and many people seemed to know them and other patrons. They started playing around 10 (Tuesday night late July) some fun jazz. We had a good time but you may want to go with the $7 beer and a shot as the mixed drinks were not stellar that night. Bartender was cool but not the best. I do recommend a visit if you are in the area.“

“The setting is hard to beat. Servers are fast and friendly. Plenty of seating, though it gets crowded. Tables are often full even when the bar is closed. Prices are as expected for Gaylord. One would expect a broader selection of quality spirits, but alas mostly mid-tier selections. The cocktails are well made and balanced. They used to have a nightly musician, sadly there was not one present at my most recent stay.“

“I found this a wonderful space. Wine bars, to me, can be weird. This one was situated perfectly between at space and the option to have the Ravello menu in the wine bar indoor patio with comfy chairs was a delight. The service was wonderful. The hostess station requires a proper guest's patience. The wine is interesting enough and does not seem like allocation born reading created by a warprofiteering blubbery fatass like we oftentimes see in newer cities, making it closer to a true wine list of proper communication even at such plain design in concept of simple sort. The food was really good in preparation and selection in what I enjoyed. I didn't find the price unreasonable for what it is as I dine this way often, regularly. I found it to be well done and nicely casual. We did spend less than $100 per person as a pizza and a glass of wine is such, but it truly is just over a hundred a person at a glass of wine, salad, pizza appetizer, and dinner course. Obviously, it's a wine bar and you can go for only wine making it a $50 and under tab.“

“Beautiful experience in a beautiful space. The open concept with the pristine kitchen right in the middle. Watching the chefs work to deliver unique presentations. Service was outstanding. It shows that all staff really love what they do. It is hard to describe the dishes, you just have to experience them. I’d recommend the feast.“

“I love a good locally owned dive bar. Especially one where the owners prove to be really good people, just wanting a place with a fun atmosphere, cold drinks and unassumingly delicious food! I’ve passed by this “biker bar” for 14 years and finally popped in tonight. As soon as we walked in and friends wanted to turn back around, the two owners said, “why are you leaving? Let us buy you ladies a drink.” We ended up staying and hanging with them and other locals on their front deck bar. We managed to taste food from Chef Jimmy in the kitchen… A dive bar with Sashimi? I don’t even eat seafood and it was unbelievable. The grilled chicken and the sriracha maybe ginger wings were spot on. Definitely going to go back (with my dog for the leash free dog run off the back patio!) Live music and always some trivia event or something. So glad I finally stopped in! Most definitely will be back soon!“

“The drag show is AMAZING—very fun and entertaining. However, the food and service were not the best. I told a waitress twice that I wanted a bottomless option, and at one point I asked for more (since they don’t bring refills unless you specifically ask). The waitress was extremely rude, claiming I hadn't requested the bottomless option, even though another waitress knew about it. The place is really cool, but be prepared to constantly call for your refills.“

“I'm a person who asks questions so I really do appreciate the patience and menu advice.
I got the hot chicken, fried w/ chili on top.
The medium spice flavor was stated to be around a 5/6 and the hot spice flavor was stated to be around a 7/8.
The chicken was unexpectedly flavorful and very savory. The spice level was perfect for my liking (hot).
I would absolutely come back with people who have never been here before.
I went late at night after watching some musician friends play at an event. The food wait was about 15 min.“

Jack Daniels made me feel so safe - Chef Aaron personally came to our table to talk to us! They care about allergies and sensitivities. BTW most of the menu can be made gluten free even the Mac! The food was fresh and hot and I just wanted to run back to the kitchen to hug the staff. Seriously Ive never been taken care of better. Thanks Jack Daniels!“

“I am not usually big on take out food however, I had a taste for some authentic Italian foods and Roma Pizza & Pasta located in Donelson area was just the place that served very well season chicken wings and soft & airy pizza. We ordered the steak burrito with rice and beans, which was very good. The chips came complimentary with salsa and jalapeño ranch dip—neither of which impressed us. However, the queso we ordered with the chips was a standout, offering a unique and delightful twist on the classic queso. Overall, the delicious food couldn’t quite make up for the lackluster service. Here’s hoping Chuy’s can elevate their service to match the quality of their cuisine in the future.“
