“We really loved Southern Grist when we first found it. Great craft beers and a great food menu, but as of late, the food menu disappoints. Anyone can do burgers and beers. Bring back the chicken sandwich, bao buns and vinegar potatoes. Your menu made you unique now you’re just like everyone else.“

“I am glad to have this place in the neighborhood. I've been a few times with family and friends and even hosted my bday party there. Each time the drinks are perfect, the vibes are high, music is JUST the right volume even with the DJ present and the staff is smilin. They even come out and have a little laugh with you and your crew from time to time. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners and he made it so easy and chill for me to host my party, 10/10 experience. There's also something low key sexy about the interior, so date night you can definitely pull off. But the exterior feels a little boho for friends or co-workers and they've got heaters for the chilly nights! If you haven't pulled up yet, do it. Cherries team, we want some hot sauce for the wings, ok? Give the ppl some hot sauce (Louisiana preferably), lol.“

“Love this place! Super chill vibes. They do have the volume way lower for openers but for headliners, the sound is a lot better. They have a water station, but you have to ask the bar for a cup unless you bring your own. The lights are kinda bright and hot you right in the face sometimes, so I have to bring sunglasses. “We were visiting from out of state and decided to try a smaller spot instead of Bourbon st. Our first choice of a piano bar looked a little sketch so we found Wilburn. We walked past a group chillin' on the outdoor patio and entered the cool brick and Christmas tinsel. The seating includes old diner looking benches and round tabletops and some tables decked in red and white checked tablecloths. There is another setting area through a door in the back that is like a tiny ally where some friendy people greeted me. Close to 10 the band showed up and set up an organ. It felt like Cheers and many people seemed to know them and other patrons. They started playing around 10 (Tuesday night late July) some fun jazz. We had a good time but you may want to go with the $7 beer and a shot as the mixed drinks were not stellar that night. Bartender was cool but not the best. I do recommend a visit if you are in the area.“

“If you are a single person or with friends, this is the bar you have to come to, the food is 200%, I have visited an unlimited number of bars in Nashville and this is the best, it gives you a Caribbean vibe, but at the same time very American, here you can feel however you want, if you like sports this is the bar for you to come with your friends, believe me it is the best bar, the bartenders will love you.“

“Several weeks back we stopped into Roadside to taste their wings. I would be hosting a large event and was told their wings were the best in our area. Absolutely the best! We taste tested several other places and by far Roadside had the best! Wilton, the GM met with us and took us through the whole process of why they have the best wings. Wilton coordinated and executed everything that we discussed for the event perfectly!!Shout out to the cook, Fred! If you haven’t tried their wings before, you need to get down there and have some! You will not be disappointed.
