“An absolutely stunning place to visit. The staff is friendly, engaging and talkative (if you want to), the place is clean, well designed and open, and there are several events throughout the week that keep you coming back. They were even nice enough to give me a thorough tour of the place, showing me the process of making the beer, and all their storage and organization. Now, the beer itself; The beer is phenomenal. Half-Batch has somehow made something fresh and exciting in the vast, well-explored world of beer, and have managed to create a menu with lots of choices that all taste interesting. The pepper beer, for example, is a peculiar experience, that engages and challenges your pallette in the best way. I didn't personally like it, even when a lot of others do, but I still find it great that they are experimenting with flavor. The staff also presented me with lots of taste tests, so I could try most of the stuff on the menu. All in all, great place that anyone should visit if they are in the area.“
“We had our class reunion here this weekend. We wanted something chill, just mainly a space where we could congregate and people could come and go, but food and beer at their leisure. This place didn’t just deliver, they exceeded expectations! The management was great, we had a space, and we were so well taken care of! I can’t thank Trey and Brittany, and their staff, enough!“

“Awesome little spot, never knew anything was back there. Got my wife the nashville hot and I got fish n chips. Both really good.
Parking: tons of parking
Kid-friendliness: Dogs are welcome on the patio.“
“We really loved Southern Grist when we first found it. Great craft beers and a great food menu, but as of late, the food menu disappoints. Anyone can do burgers and beers. Bring back the chicken sandwich, bao buns and vinegar potatoes. Your menu made you unique now you’re just like everyone else.“
“Really neat brewery in the East Nashville area. The staff were so friendly and funny and we had a great time sitting at the bar chatting with them. The beers were delicious and it seems they rotate taps fairly often, which makes coming back all the more exciting knowing there will be some new brews to taste!“
“Someone handed me a Yazoo while I was out on Broadway back in 2013 - and I had to know more about this amazing brewery.
Every time I'm in Nashville, I'll make my way over to the brewery for a flight, and have been blown away by how passionate and knowledgable the staff have been on each visit. You can't go wrong with the Pale Ale, and I look forward to sticking around for some food next time. Awesome business, and the people make it worth the trip.“
“Low-key favorite brewery in Nashville. Great beer and awesome coffee bar. Unlike many other breweries around Nashville, it doesn't try too hard to be something it's not. Just chill, good vibes, great beer and friendly staff. What more could you want?“

“Killer spot with the best beer, by far! And pies in the city! Staff crushes it all around! The house staff runs 10 miles a day and then comes to work for nine hour shift! That’s wild, Nashville! The secrets out … so freaking amazing! The Pizza Palace Pilsner is great and so are so many other traditional European style and modern IPAs! And the dude with all the tattoos behind the bar is and absolute gem! Besides the fact that he’s from Philly ha!“
