Off the Farm Barbeque in Hixson, TN, is located on the south side of Dayton Pike road in a building shared with another business. There is not a large parking lot or a large inside eating are inside but don’t let that stop you. Their food is very good and they provided a wonderful experience for our recent event. Facing a tight schedule, we reached out to them with an early morning request for a large order. They opened their doors ahead of regular hours to accommodate our group and order. This level of customer service is truly commendable and speaks volumes about their dedication to their customers. Their genuine friendliness made the pickup process quick, smooth, and enjoyable. The food was excellent. The smoked meats were tender and flavorful. The beans were delicious. Each side dish complemented the mains perfectly. In my opinion, Off the Farm Barbeque has established itself as a great place for bbq in the local community. Their commitment to quality food and exceptional service is shown in their food and interactions. Overall, it was a very nice experience. “🤯 we love to try bbq anywhere we go and sugars is definitely one you should stop in and try when you’re in Chattanooga. We got the ribs, sampler taco, brisket poppers, fried grilled corn, and spicy okra chips. The brisket popper is a jalapeño popper filled with cheese brisket and topped with I believe their house salsa- so flavorful. The taco sampler comes with a brisket, pulled pork and chicken taco. Each taco has cilantro, onion and radish and a crema or aioli sauce. My favorite was the brisket then the pulled pork. The. The ribs which were delicious and perfectly cooked without any sauce we sampled all of the sauces on a bite and our favorite was the red wine vinegar and chili sauce. So unique. Everything was unexpected but delicious. So happy we stopped in for lunch.“

“Definitely a must try of long term staple local restaurants. We ordered in the back at a small building w a walk up window on the back side of the building with the sign on MLK. The woman who took the order was very patient and nice. The woman was super nice and brought us our food to the car when it was ready which I thought was superb customer service. Got a small weenie on chilli plate with Cole slaw and it came w three rolls, hot sauce, and mustard. I ended up making sandwiches out of the contents of the box. Everything was tasty to me except wasn’t a big fan of the slaw taste, it had a very sauer kraut taste to it. Reminded me of Beenie weenies since I had never tried it before. Would like to try their other offerings. For two dinners and a large drink it was $32. Love the location in the heart of the city! Would definitely recommend going and marking it off your bucket list if you haven’t already.“

My new job and doctor require I drive to Chattanooga sometimes, and whenever I start to get hungry heading down I-75 this is the one place that always pops into my mind! “We had an incredible experience today at Chao’s Mongolian Grill. We have been a few times and the food has always been good and the staff has been friendly but today an employee (I believe he may have been a manager) stopped me as I was gathering some things for my son to go out to the car and feed him while we waited for our food to be done. He insisted that it was too cold to go back outside and wanted to make sure our son was comfortable and able to eat. He pulled a chair in the private dining area out of sight and told my husband he would come and get him if anyone were to need the space before our son finished eating. It was above and beyond considerate to accommodate us and make sure we were taken care of! We appreciated it so much! Thank you for making this mamas life a little bit easier today! “I’m a very picky eater and when a friend suggested my husband and I eat at Haven’s with him we agreed. My husband had meatloaf, okra, cabbage with a corn muffin and I had the fried chicken wings, mashed potatoes, black eyed peas with a corn muffin. Every single thing we ate was the best we have ever tasted!! I couldn’t believe it. Our friend ordered the pork chops and could only eat one so my husband got to eat the other one. Seriously, it was hard to leave there with out ordering two or three meals to go. Since we live in Cleveland Haven's will see us at LEAST once a week. The girls there are precious and the food is cooked after you order. Such a Fantastic place!!!“
