“I have missed Peter's since it left Northgate Mall years ago and was so glad to hear they were coming back. I have been frequently since their return. The down side is location. I have to go when I am coming back from somewhere and can turn right to get there because it is just too hard to turn left to get in there. SERVICE is wonderful. I usually ask for somethings on the side and they accommodate perfectly. I think I liked them better before, but my taste has probably just changed. Someone gave me lots of free coupons for the 12 oz Petro so I'm trying to use them up before they expire. My niece loves the Petro with the pasta. I like the one with the corn chips. I look forward to trying other menu items after I use all my coupons. I hear lots of people really like the orange tea they have. I wasn't impressed with the tea. I thought it tasted a little floral.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian chili.Dietary restrictions: There are gluten free options.Kid-friendliness: They have kids meals and will put toppings on the side as requested.“
“We have been visiting Blugrass Grill for years every time we go to Chattanooga (from Atlanta) for good reason. We visited again this morning on our way back to Atlanta and it was amazing as always. The service is top notch, the food is amazing, it’s a perfect breakfast spot, and the coffee is awesome.“
“On March 23, I was in Chattanooga for a business trip from Chicago. I used Google and TikTok to help me find a vegan restaurant. I decided to try Cashew. Let me start off by saying I was highly impressed by the aesthetics of the restaurant. It was pretty, clean and hip. I ordered the jackfruit nacho over the phone and it was ready upon my arrival. I met the owner of the restaurant and she was super nice. I was highly impressed by the jackfruit nacho. It was super delicious even my non-vegan co-workers said it looked good. The next day I came back to Cashew for the Bierria tacos and they were also delicious . I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Chattanooga, the food does not disappoint, the atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. I am grateful to find a good vegan restaurant when I’m traveling.“
“We went to support a fellow church member who was participating in a songwriters round robin singers night that started at 7pm on a Saturday night in downtown Chattanooga. So many very talented Christian music artists shared in 20 minute increments of uplifting songs that they wrote about living life with the saving presence of Jesus Christ in their hearts. The coffee and desserts served here are some of the best I've had in a while. Bring the whole family for an inspirational heart healing time with these local Christian artists! Thank you Cadence Coffee for your excellent hospitality!“
“Everything was great , went 4 TIMES on a 8 day break .Shout out to Asley and Rachel from the Chapples!!!Awesome food and service .Vegetarian options: Too many to mention, well seasoned, loved every thing, will never go through Chattanooga with out stopping to eat there!“
“This place rocks!!! Completely celiac safe! There are more gluten free choices than I have ever had in a restaurant, ever! Omg I couldn’t decide what to eat and finally settled on the fried chicken platter with cornbread, fried okra, and Mac & cheese. Absolutely delicious and abundant! Everyone was happy eating their meals. Best part about Chattanooga, TN is Bantam + Biddy!Dietary restrictions: I have celiac so I need to eat Gluten Free for medical reasons.“
“Being from Chattanooga and then moving away, Sleepy Head is always first on my list when I come back home. My favorite are the donuts and their matcha. My too year old loves them too!Dietary restrictions: Delicious gluten free and vegan donuts!“
“I took my girlfriend here on a date and didn't realize it was jazz night. It was nice to hear live music and didn't really mind. The food was amazing! We ate the salad, salmon, Burger, and carrot cake souffle. Everything was delicious! Our server was very kind and informed the kitchen on the dishes we were splitting and also boxed our leftovers for us. The kitchen may have been very busy because in total we were about a little over an hour and a half. I recommend eating here.“
“Hands down the BEST cupcakes in Chattanooga, if not in all of East Tennessee. Their cupcakes are appealing to the eyes and delicious to the taste buds. Quality and presentation are just as great, too. They offer creative flavors as well as classic flavors that are done extremely well. Cupcakes are the star of the show here, but there's also edible cookie dough, ice cream cupcakes, and confections like chocolate dipped pretzels, strawberries, oreos, truffles and more! Service was a bit pulseless the day we visited. The two workers seemed a bit preoccupied and almost slightly bothered that they had to stop packaging to help us and the handful of people who came in behind us to order. We did get a "thank you" after paying, though. Designated free parking for Cupcake Kitchen customers can be found just behind the storefront. There's only a total of 5 parking spaces currently, and you must pull in and back out directly onto the road, so parking can be a bit tight. There's an outdoor bar height table to eat at, but no seating inside. Our favorite and most recommended cupcake is definitely the Almond Raspberry ($5). Other flavors we've enjoyed and highly recommend are: Lemon Drop, Chocolate Raspberry, Key Lime Pie, and German Chocolate. Gluten-free and dairy free cupcakes are offered as well! Definitely pop on in and grab yourself a cupcake or two whenever you're in the area. Your sweet tooth will thank you!“
“We arrived as the shop was locking up at closing time, and the owners kindly invited us in and said they didn’t want to disappoint our kids. They did not rush us even though they were staying late to take care of us, and this really made a special experience for our family on our trip to “
“My friends and I were spending a day in Chatt for Easter. We're pretty picky when it comes to Asian food, so we weren't expecting much from the food in Chatt. We were so shocked on how good Han Mi was. The menu options are hard to find in Nashville so their menu dish selection was good. The food was so good, better than our go to spots in Nashville. The portion sizes were huge too and their prices are veryyy reasonable and cheaper compared to others. If you guys ever have a spot open in Nashville, my friends and I would come to you guys all the time.“
“Much like all the other stories on here, I drive by everyday and finally decided to stop. I drink black coffee everyday and I’ve never realized how bitter gas station coffee is until now. The lady at the window was very helpful in helping me pick my coffee as I’m a coffee shop noob. This stuff is the bomb dot com and surprisingly affordable. 100% will be back“
“The quality of The Local is exceptional. The best açai bowl I have ever had, without a doubt! Their ingredients are top-notch. The PB & Açai bowl is delicious, and isn't too sweet like many of the generic smoothie bowls. It is expensive - $13+ for the bowl before tip, so that is the only downside to this place. If they lowered their prices even a couple of dollars, I think they would knock it out of the park and it would feel more fair to the consumer.“
“Food is good however the cost has increased to the point it’s not affordable long term. Instead of buying 2 meals for my husband and I , I buy one and split it between us. I’m not sure how much longer I can actually afford to purchase, as I can buy premade meals at Publix cheaper but they don’t have the variety.Vegetarian options: They are goodDietary restrictions: I have stomach restrictions and my husband has heart/salt restrictions“
“Creative pizzeria. Multiple toppings ideas suggested on the menu or build your own. Option to buy by the pie or by the slice, I appreciate the flexibility. Reminds me a lot of Mellow Mushroom with a hippy vibe, but better. Prices are reasonable relative to the quality.Parking: Paid parking nearby“
“Incredible food. The best restaurant I’ve been to in Chattanooga! The outdoor patio is amazing.Service was so friendly! I’ll always ask for Jeremy’s section. And Mary, the manager is so friendly as well. You gotta try the Brussels sprouts, Sweet Tea Chicken Sandwich w potatoes, and the Italian Sausage Flat Bread w Vodka Sauce!Everything was beyond delicious. Will make it a point to go to Hello Monty every time we visit Chattanooga! Can’t wait to try their other dishes, which looked amazing as well.Thank you, Jeremy and Mary for an excellent experience! And hats off to the chef!“
“I love that Vibrant Meals is stocked at the downtown YMCA. When I leave my lunch at home or just need something quick before getting back to work, I usually grab a meal to go. They reheat easily and thoroughly. Today, I was bummed because my favorite, the Zesty Lemon Chicken, was already sold out. So, I decided to try something new- the Chicken Enchiladas. Oh man! I may just have a new favorite! Delicious! And thank you for not putting cooked/caramelized onions in this dish!“
“We were vacationing for Spring Break in Chattanooga recently when we all had a craving for pizza. My 16 year old son googled "best pizza in Chattanooga" and Chattanooga Pizza Co popped up in the results. It was a little out of the way for us but I am SO glad that we made the trip there! We stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. The young man working was very kind and helpful to us while we were deciding what to order and made suggestions where needed. We ended up with 3 different pizzas, fries and some fried pickles. EVERYTHING was perfection! The crust was the perfect combination of crispy and chewy. We all loved it! Makes me sad that we don't live in the area and can't have it more often. If you're in Chattanooga and are feeling like pizza, give them a try!“
“(4/16/24, 7:40pm) We came here tonight as two weary and tired travelers from Jacksonville, Florida. A friend, a chef by trade, recommended this place with great accolades. Her endorsement went beyond our expectations. We both were pleasantly surprised by the garlic-clove bread (a simple but hidden treasure!), but the grilled salmon pasta really brought it on home.I was especially thrilled that it came to the table within about 15 minutes of ordering. The salmon was perfect- flaky and buttery. The sauces were a wonderful medley of flavors and paired with the black pepper linguine- WOW!I wish I remembered the name of our server because she was extremely courteous and sweet (long brown hair pulled back, septum piercing) but everything about our dining experience tonight made a long drive a worthwhile comfort. We will be back- and are already discussing our next dive into the menu :) thank you!“
“This evening we had dinner here, our server, Courtney was very professional and tending to our needs prior to asking. The manager Victoria was so pleasant and you can feel she cares about the customers and her employees. Food was wonderful as well.“
“I have been going here for over 20 years. It only had one location back then, downtown. The East Brainerd one is great. The guy let me sample the beer, which was so extremely bougie. I didn't even know they did that. I felt like I was a world of beer without having to go down there and I don't even know if they exist anymore hahaha. It was so cool! Seriously, if you like pizza or salad or cheese or bread or anything Garfield related, please go check them out. If you read any of my other reviews you know I tell the straight truth and nothing but the truth so you can trust me on this. This is where it's at.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are phenomenalDietary restrictions: They will accommodate youParking: There is only about six spaces right in front of the restaurant because it's in a strip mall, but you can park in any of the available spaces and it's not far of a walk at all. It's just a really small area.Kid-friendliness: Kids love it here. It looks like it was decorated by a kid. But that's why I love it too.Wheelchair accessibility: It's very easy to get in with a wheelchair and they will accommodate you if you need it.“
“A friend and I had brunch one Sunday afternoon. It was perfect weather to sit outside on their patio area. I had the French Toast Breakfast (pictured) with vanilla cream cheese in the middle of the toast and strawberries ? and their homemade whip cream. It was amazing! Lots of yumminess! To drink, I had the most amazing hot tea ☕️, lavender, and blueberry (pictured). Both of those really complimented each other in taste. Did not put sugar in my tea. It was perfect without it. I mean, look at the pictures and see how beautiful they both look as well. ??❤️??? The tea smelled so good, too.My friend had the Nutella croissant with a cold coffee (forgot the flavor and didn't get a picture of either ?♀️?♀️). But my friend stated it was very good. It looked all good. ?? I will end with we both had great customer service all around! Everyone was so kind and nice, even during the busiest time on a Sunday afternoon. I will definitely be going back. It's located in one beautiful area of Chattanooga, TN.“
“Best Portuguese restaurant Nearby. We dine in with reservation. The service and the environment are perfect. Highly recommend the Polvo Lagareiro/ Octopus. The Filet Mignon and Scallop on the stone is excellent with reasonable price as well. We really had an unforgivable evening at Bela.“
“So good!!! It's the first time I dared to try a pizza with no marinara on it. I had the Holy Shiitake and it was amazing!! Their pizzas are rustic and so fresh!! We were able to sit on the patio with our dog and have a good time. We'll be back!“
“I visited Tennessee from Florida with some good friends and they brought me here before covid hit. I absolutely loved the food, the ambience and the music! I love salsa, merengue, bachata, reggaeton and they were playing the best music I was dancing in my seat the whole time I was eating. When covid hit I was following them on Facebook and the way they hustled and delivered food during covid made me so happy but wish they delivered to Florida LOL! I am coming back in April hopefully and I am definitely going to be coming in at least twice for my small little visit!“
“We really enjoyed Scotties! Five stars are well deserved! We had the not your ordinary cheese balls and crab cake appetizers, and they were both fabulous. I had the ribeye, and it was perfect. The fried shrimp were fresh and some of the best around. I will be back!“
“The Island Heat Wings is a MUST!!! The sweetness from pineapples to the kick of heat from jalapeños brought a smile!!!! This burger (I can't remember the name, but the kick of heat with well-done burger just melt my heart!!! Please ask for steak ?“

“A quick edit: Chris, from the Tap House wrote one of the best responses to my review I have ever seen. He was not defensive. I added a star.Cold and a bit depressing inside with a server who is not knowledgeable about the beers. Why three stars?1. I’m sure this place is packed and lively in the evening, but I came in on Friday around 1 PM, and it was really empty and cold. I know that this is an older building with high ceilings and glass windows, but it was freezing. I probably should’ve just left, but I thought once I had a beer and some food in me, I would warm up. I did not. It was really chilly the entire time.2. I will say my server was initially attentive. She was very nice. But it was only me and two other tables…the entire time. And she just didn’t appear again except to bring the food. The place had only three seated tables out of several, and two people working, thus, the server should’ve been much more present. (See the photo I took of no one behind the bar). Later, I saw the two servers way off to the side, talking to each other, behind the bar. But if you’re looking to catch a server’s eye to refill water or anything else, it’s really awkward when you have to go up and start looking around for her. At a minimum, I should not have to be flagging her down, very, very minimum she should at least be visible somewhere in the restaurant so that if I do have to walk around, I can find her.She asked me what I wanted to drink, and then disappeared, did not offer much advice on the beer at all, even though I told her I was from Asheville (a big beer town) and I asked if she had any High gravity, and she said,“just scan the QR code.” I told her what type of beer I liked, and I asked for suggestions, and again she said, “Scan it and you’ll see a list.” She wasn’t offering any advice on any beers and I found it really unusual in a bar that is so beer focused…And so empty. It’s not as if she had to rush off to a bunch of other tables. I really expect my bartenders/servers (at a place known for beers) to say “this has some undertones of this” or “this one’s a little grassy“ or “this is a nice hoppy IPA, but it’s a bit cloudy.“ But she wanted me to do my own research and just told me to scan the QR code. Again, with no one here, she could’ve walked me through some of the beers. Since I did not have any recommendations, I thought I would have a flight, and even then, when I was saying, “what about this one?” she told me to write down the numbers. Maybe I’m spoiled from living in Asheville, but I am really accustomed to the bartenders telling me the details about the beers when I ask a question. And this is a place that… does… Beers. I just really expected to have a conversation about it, and that’s one of the reasons I came in. The server seem to know absolutely nothing about the offerings.3. Terrible Wi-Fi. It is free Wi-Fi, but the entire time I had less than one bar. It made it tricky, because I needed to contact a couple of people and get a few things done, but it was really really bad Wi-Fi. I know this is not a business or a café or people that come to get the work done, but hopefully with the Wi-Fi you should have at least two bars.4. Food. Here is the real reason for three stars. I really did not enjoy the food. I would never give a three star review to a place just because the Wi-Fi was spotty and it was cold. Or even if the server was not knowledgeable. But the food was really disappointing. I ordered the boneless wings, and the barbecue sauce that covered them seemed rather generic, and they felt a bit soggy and they were cold! The blue cheese was runny and not chunky and they were $20! For a pound basket. I ordered a pound so I could have some to take home. And I really wish I had only ordered a half a pound. They just weren’t good. I’ve had boneless wings all over the place, and these tasted like something that you would get that were frozen and then thawed out and just slathered in some sauce. The sauce was too heavy, the wings were not crispy and good. The sauce weighed them down.“
“I love Mimis they have exceptional food. The breakfast was a surprise to us..We live in Crossville an love to go there. We went the day before and found they were serving. SOOOO, We went the next morning for Breakfast..it was awesome as well.“
