“My husband and I have been all over the United States traveling for his job. Last week we found ourselves traveling through the area headed towards Knoxville and jumped at the chance to finally eat at this restaurant. Top of The Rock is a very fitting name for sure lol The location did not disappoint. We were seated promptly and in no time (though obviously busy) our server brought water and introduced herself with an attitude and presents that was not only attentive but welcoming. She spoke to us like we had just sat down in her home for a meal with old friends. By the time we ordered our drinks and appetizer we had connected to her kindness in a way that made me feel like I never wanted to leave. ( that says a lot and means a lot to us specifically...its like she knew exactly what type of encounter we were hoping and NEEDING to have when it came to service) The food was great and the drinks were top notch. I would point anybody looking for an exceptional eating establishment to Top of The Rock. But what made our whole experience so memorable was the friendly and personable service. Mandy was warm and inviting with a southern drawl you think only exists in the movies lol Other servers we watched buzzing around were friendly as well but we grew quite partial to Mandys hospitality. She had told us she was fairly new to the job and we couldn't believe it! Get the Fish tacos! They are phenominal! and ask for Mandy if you wanna feel appreciated and comfortable. will recommend this place to everyone we know and for sure will be back!“

“Stopped in for lunch after seeing freeway signs on drive from Nashville to Atlanta. The owner and server were fantastic and treated us like family. Wood fired pizzas were made fresh to order and were very good! Was impressed with all the imported and local ingredients in the pizza.

Wines were just OK in my opinion, we each did a tasting of many different wines and most had a finish I didnt like. We bought 2 bottles, one each of her and my favorite and are letting them age a few months before opening.

View is amazing and owner is a local historian who can tell you a lot of stories about the area. We are glad we stopped and enjoyed our time there.“
