The Black Olive Kingsport Reviews
ALL the food we had was beyond delicious. Can’t rave enough about the taste, from the fried zucchini thru the spaghetti, lasagna, chicken parm & the ultimate pizza, all the way to the cannoli’s. We were there at a very busy time & our food was served very promptly & was very hot. Our server was excellent, friendly & efficient. We will def go back & will recommend to all our friends & family. The Black Olive Kingsport is described as an Italian restaurant with good food and generous portions. The Stromboli was good, and everyone’s food was good. The Italian Nachos and Meatball Parm were delicious, and the food was delicious overall. The Veal Parmesan and Hawaiian Pizza were absolutely amazing. The chicken scaloppini and lemon chicken piccata were both outstanding. The cheese knots, Alfredo sauce, chicken parm, and spicy bow tie pasta are standouts. The portions are large and prices are fair. The restaurant is family owned and operated, super nice inside, and very clean everywhere including the bathrooms, absolutely spotless. A very pleasant young lady met guests with a big smile and an open door, and a waiter was very nice and knowledgeable about the extensive menu and very attentive to the table. The Manager came by the table several times checking on guests and was very nice and very informative about the food and the restaurant. However, the floor and table were sticky, and the Italian dressing was sour and tasted like it was straight from a bottle. Where you sit changes the experience a lot, and the music from the speakers in the ceiling can be a bit much.
