The food was decent. I'm a foodie that loves flavor, health, and creativity. I'm thankful Kingston atleast has somewhere to eat, but for me I probably won't visit again because it was nothing out of the ordinary that I cannot make at home.
While traveling from KY to Knoxville we pulled off the interstate for a pitstop and lunch. There's a lot of fast food to choose from but we prefer Mom and Pop places if available (and don't look scarey). Not seeing any options we were preparing to make a turn when I saw the sign for "bakery & cafe". What a win! I had soup and salad, my honey had a wrap, we both had a slice of pumpkin roll. What a great little place with a great staff! Beth jumped right in to wait on us and was so helpful with telling us the specials for the day. She even sat down with us for a minute after we finished eating and asked if we were just passing through. The kindness Beth and the team showed was very nice. Will definitely stop in the next time I am up this way.
