Is very sad to see the Amber restaurant in Halls change hands and then become one of the worst places to go. Look forward to going every Sunday after church, the old Amber had a nice menu with meatloaf, turkey gravy, mashed potatoes, etc. seven layer salad, pineapple, walnut salads, all of us has been taken off the menu. Just after they open, we went there on a Sunday. Took 45 minutes to just get our order taken to us. The food was absolutely terrible not the taste but overcooked...read full review
We just went for the Fri night fish fry and we LOVED the catfish. The crinkle fries, slaw and hushpuppies were also good. It was packed with people and I thought they handled the crowd pretty well considering it was just their second time for this.
Still one of my favorite places to eat
