Preservation Pub is a beloved Knoxville establishment, housed in a historic building with an intriguing past. This 3-level bar offers increasingly impressive views of the square, exuding a classic dive bar atmosphere. The vibe is dark and smoky, perfect for those seeking a traditional dive experience. While the food, including their acclaimed pizza, is exceptional, the ambiance can sometimes be impacted by overindulgence and occasional altercations. However, the amazing staff and reasonable drink prices make it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. It is a great place to enjoy drinks, live music, and socializing, cementing its status as a must-visit destination. The venue, which hosts numerous touring bands, also features a cool rooftop for an even more enjoyable experience.
