Initially this was because the restaurant was next to our hotel, but now we stop because of the great food. Today, I want to give a loud SHOUT OUT to our waitress, Skylar. “My husband and I go here about twice a month here lately. He likes that they serve vegetables. I enjoy their fried chicken salads and onion rings. There’s a variety of food for you to enjoy. The waitress is on point and friendly. The decor hasn’t changed much in years and that’s ok. I’m not going to look at the decor, just to grab a good meal.“

“This is a great drive through place that will have you crossing town just for it. We think you'll love it, especially if you're fans of Wendy's or Burger King. You can smell the grill aromas when you arrive. All the flavors are bold and satisfying and the ingredients seem extra fresh and high quality. The burger choices remind me of how you can build your burger at home - custom! And you can pick two sides (!) for your combo tray, I solidly recommend the Cajun fries, wraps, or fried cheese nuggets. (The Cajun fries are so good I'll sometimes get a double for the sides. ) But there's a bunch more options too! Even hush puppies. They have chicken sandwiches you can customize too. In fact, I think there's a whole lot more on the menu to pick from that I can't even remember - I'm just listing my favorites. Oh! And they have Big Red soda (IYKYK) and a menu of about 2 dozen milkshakes. In case you can't tell, we love Cookout and prefer it to almost all other drive through. BL: excellent drive through burger+shakes+_ place with great flavors and quality and a fascinating and non traditional menu. And it's price competitive. A great value!“

“Each morning I stop by the drive through to grab my coffee (Frappe) and sweet tea for the day. I work at the urgent care near by so it’s convenient. Each day I am greeted by this wonderful lady with the happiest voice and most positive energy. She completes my order quickly and without any issues. And she is so fast. She doesn’t know who I am and I know nothing about her. But I cannot thank her enough for just being her sweet cheerful self every morning. I go into work thinking if she can be that happy and positive so can I!!! So if you’re in the Ooltewah location please go by and get a blessing from Herta. She’s definitely been a blessing to me. “Love going there, but sometimes the food isn't hot and seems to have been setting for a while. But my favorite is Mushroom and Swiss, then the Frisco Melt!! Most times, it's OK, but nights are worst, employees are Not friendly and that's when the food isn't greatest and no napkins!! Day times...anytime!!“

“I went through the drive thru and a very sweet boy answered. When I pulled up I saw he was the only one taking orders up front and in the drive thru and he was still quick. His name is Rowan (if I'm spelling that correctly) and hes amazing!!“

“We had a pleasant experience at Applebee's in Hixson, thanks to our server Gary, who provided quick service. The food arrived promptly, and although the queso was a bit runnier than we prefer, it still tasted okay. The Tex-Mex shrimp bowl and chicken quesadilla salad were both tasty, and the triple chocolate melt was a delightful dessert. Just a friendly tip for servers: if you smoke, please make sure not to smell like it when serving customers.“
